Too bad you can’t remove 2 nd row seats. That’s a dealbreaker for me.

I understand. In the past I worked for other brands and customers complained of the ease of removal, the lack of comfort of seats and most importantly safety. Toyota didn't want the occasion that seat wasn't reinstalled improperly or accidentally released and unfortunate accident. No lost is worth that.
