The new CX 60 and CX 90 look absolutely amazing! It’s a timeless design, I love how wide and low they are.

I love this car. Suspension was recalled and upgraded by Mazda. New software also installed. It's now not jerky at 1,000 rpm but lost pick-up. I'm sending it for retuning. One thing though, I was at 16L/100km before tuning and now it's 11.8L/100km. How do you get 6-8 litre per 100km?

I wonder if Mazda Philippines released the fix on the software for the transmission, and on the suspension on the 2024 model? Have they also fixed the side mirror motors as well?

No it's fixed dampers. I have one in Australian and yes its firmer on crappy roads but on smoother roads which is most of the time its nice very quiet and handles well including high speeds of 150kph plus.

A mechanic in the US who subjected the new inline six petrol engine and mild hybrid system (which is used for both CX60 & CX90 models) to his scrutiny said he is disappointed. He has a similar observation with what you claimed Vince that there are noticeable delays to the power delivery from the time you bury your foot on the gas pedal to the time the power is felt where the rubber meets the road which is a description that is totally unheard of for a Mazda vehicle. Moreover, the missteps of Mazda does not stop with performance. He further adds that he is surprised as how even the timing chain of this inline six engine when the time comes to service it falls due, would neccessitate the removal of the entire engine from the car because Mazda engineers decided to put it in the back and not in front of the engine where it should be. One can only imagine the costs of removing an entire engine just to service or replace a timing chain. Maybe the CX50 which is powered by the same highly reliable Mazda engines and trsnsmissions would have been the better choice for Mazda PH to further their goals for the local market.

I know the video you’re referring to. The fact that this car seems to have everything in terms of its engine tech is actually very scary to me. It strikes me as some kind of a walking time bomb that’s not just waiting to explode but sure to explode because mechanical parts and electronics are sure to break down . I love the look of this car but the technology is too much for me to handle so I’ll most likely opt for the more entry level model with the far less complicated set up, which is available in my country.

in Japanese cars , timing chian is very reliable. Even in BMW inline 6, maintence free till 200,000km even more.

Never believed Mazda will put fake exhausts on this one!
@johnnytampocao7671 Жыл бұрын
Yeah, but Mercedes and the BMW are doing the same in most models, so Mazda said, why not we? But this is the last model Mazda is doing a fake exhaust, they listen to the critics. Look at the CX-90 they didn't do it

@@tlevans62 no, they already clarified that mild hybrids are not included. Check the news
@tlevans62 Жыл бұрын
@@icynrvnaI know what you're saying based on the recent DoE announcement, however It's still not clear since it's the LTO that decides if it's coding exempt. "It is good to note that one very useful proof of number coding exemption is the vehicle’s official registration papers. If the vehicle’s fuel type is indicated as “HYBRID” or “ELECTRIC,” then you’re definitely exempt. However, a recent report showed that the Suzuki Ertiga Hybrid is registered with its fuel type as “HYBRID” despite it being a mild-hybrid only, automatically making it exempt from number coding. Now we do not know if it is the Land Transportation Office (LTO) or Suzuki Auto Philippines to blame here but we think this should be fixed as this could cause issues in the future."
