I have an e53 amg with this engine. I manage under 8.0l/100km easily. 7.5 is achievable if you drive for longer. When not looking after it is gonna end up between 8.3 - 9.2 l/100km. The S450 seems to be around the same

The consumption at lower speeds is hilarious, for example the 5,5 at 100 kmh.

77 db at 100 km/h is just impossible for this car, should be about 60 - 62.

We are working on getting better equipment as of right now we are using what we have. 62 db i think is not quite correct it also depends on the road surface.

Sorry, there is sth wrong with the fuel consumption at 120 and 140 km/h. The difference must be bigger than 0,5 l.

not neccesarly we have seen this in many recent vehilces and we still test on the same very level surface. We think maybe it has something to do with cylinder deactivation, mild hybrid systems and other things that may just not be as effective at higher speeds. Or the computer of the car is faking us. But in general we make sure to test on a flat surface. We can try to test each speed multiple times and calculate the average but this will not always be possible due to traffic sometimes and only short periods with the car.

That is because the measurement method in the Video is not accurate. To get reliable results, you have to drive a few more kilometers after resetting the counter.
