Until Holliday can prove he’s a better defender than Gunnar I think Gunnar should stay in SS. His defense is elite in that spot and I’m skeptical that Holliday is an improvement

Adames had one of the longest cold streaks I've seen. He was so bad for so long, I was legitimately almost ready to move on (but his defense never really wavered), but he kind of figured it out recently and he's been much more consistent and providing a fair amount of power.

I know Orlando Arcia's overall offensive numbers aren't great, but I honestly think the man is one of the clutchest hitters in that Atlanta lineup. He won't always hit, but when he does it's almost always in a clutch situation in a tight ballgame. I will take that combined with his good glove every day of the week.

I'm so sick of the Volpe glazing. It's pretty dumb for a contact hitter like him to be swinging for the fences while having a low BA/OPS. His main goal should be getting on base and occassionally going yard. Good defense at least, but he's an average SS at best until he does a 180 offensively.

As an Astros fan, was really hoping to see Pena step up his game this year after such an amazing postseason, like what Chas McCormick has done. He's had a regression at the plate, with his stat line being padded due to him having a FANTASTIC August, and his DRS has dropped from 16 to 5 as of rn. Wish this sudden improvement/hot streak at the plate could've happened way sooner, but who knows, maybe he's finally figured it out like Bregman did. His September is going solid rn, but def think he was overhyped at least offensively 🤷🏽‍♂️ but man that postseason run was so fun to watch him rake

Honestly a solid list. I’d argue that Gunnar and Orlando Arcia deserve to move up one grade since Arcia (this season alone) has played better than Bogarts and Gunnar is just insane. I really like Tovar too and think he’ll be even more projectable next year. And just because you mentioned fans in Atlanta, I’ll just add Lindor is overrated just have some friendly banter but in all reality he is underratedly elite.

Marc just a thought, you might want to look at Miguel Rojas again. This year since august began he’s been great, the defense is all star quality, and he’s been taking great at bats recently. As a dodger fan I am ofc bias but I think you are objectively underrating Rojas, the glove should make him an average SS and he has the potential to be solid.

I really have high hopes for Jeremy Peña. Yes he was a little overhyped Last season but he deserved it. This season the league is adjusting to him and his hitting tendencies but he's getting better but his homeruns have been surprisingly low. I think he can adjust and be even better next season.

I'm a Dodgers fan so I will admit I am biased. I would put Miguel Rojas in Average Tier. Yes he was supposed to be Gavin Lux's backup before Lux got injured and I would prefer Lux was the starting SS. However I would say while Rojas is a below average hitter, he is an above average fielder. So that makes him average. I also think Marc is putting Rojas lower because of personal animosity. If Rojas had never engaged negatively with Marc, he would have put Rojas in the Average Tier.

If you are gonna put Witt in Elite, I think you need to put Dansby up there too. He's got the best glove in the league...the past 2 years he's been peak Andrelton Simmons on D with a significantly better bat.
