The MTSU Blue Raiders traveled to Bryant-Denny Stadium in Tuscaloosa, AL to face the #4 Alabama Crimson Tide in the 2023 season opener.

For Bama an overall clean game. No turnovers, few penalties, and no major defensive busts. I'd like to see our run game crank it up more.

I think the play calling was very vanilla on purpose to not show too much I think we rush for 300 yards next week on read options. Maybe a couple big shots down the field. Defense will hold up.

I liked what I saw from Milroe. I thought he would make some bad reads and throw picks but I was surprised to see him do well. Hopefully he will learn to see the blitz and read coverages better. Not too sure he can play well against Georgia.
