What a beautiful mare! My dad used to work for the BLM wild mustang division in Montana/Nevada, and saw some real beauties, she seems like a real good backpack horse/trailride horse

Congratulations on your accomplishment! I think they should have a clause on the rules for gaiteds that would showcase that ability and embrace it. Maybe offer gating as optional to lope or trot.

Kudos ma'am, you made a wonderful horse! IMO, it's less about what goes wrong as it is about the horses reaction and recovery. That horse showed repeatedly what a solid mind she has. Anybody would be very fortunate to have her. Disappointing that being gaited worked against her - it's like criticizing someone for having an accent. Just plain wrong. If I may ask, where is she now?

She's gaited? Hot D*** that almost always messes with the judges. But D***! Whoever gets her is getting such a solid mare with wonderful starting but also *gaited*. Little squeel.
