2023 Nissan Murano Platinum POV Test Drive & Review

This is the new 2023 Nissan Murano Platinum. This Murano Platinum comes in scarlet ember tintcoat on cashmere perforated leather interior. The powertrain consists of a 3.5 liter naturally aspirated V6 mated with a CVT.
Standard features of this Murano Platinum include bluetooth audio, a backup camera, and Apple CarPlay/Android Auto compatibility. Additional features include a power panoramic sunroof, Nissan Safety Shield 360, and a navigation system.

Everyone says Nissans cvts are really bad but I’ve had a Nissan pathfinder with a cvt for 11 years and no problems with the cvt

My 2023 Murano Platinum came with a dashcam - the dealership said that was a rare feature. They were unfamiliar of how to operate it! I figured it out and it's nice to record the drive as an option.

Great review. 2023 Murano is such a beautiful SUV so ahead of its design. Nissan just have to change the Steering wheel to the current one they are using right now then put on 12" touch screen infotainment and digital animated drivers meter clusters. Also turbos in the engine 😁 And this will sell well for a couple of more years.

Enjoyed your video as all of the others as well, but would like to know is if that 3.5 V6 in the Murano the same engine as what is placed in the Maxima? And if it requires or recommends Premium Fuel, for which I do not think you addressed. I prefer paying for the Regular Unleaded over the expensive stuff. But Outstanding Job as Usual.

If Nissan doesn't put a hybrid drive train in the 2024, it's sales will plummet. Mazda has this and more in it's 2024 CX - 70 and CX - 90. Was hoping the new Murano would get new updates like dropping the CVT, increasing the boot space, and increasing the mileage ( hybrid ). As of Feb 2023, no signs of this happening. My hope for Nissan is waning, but there is still time, as the end of the year is when we are looking to upgrade.

Basically the same since 2015, when it was way ahead of its time. The long overdue redesign is coming for 2025. If you don’t mind older tech, you will see crazy deals on 2024 & 2023 used models in the near future.
