We have a 2016 Nissan pathfinder and I don’t get why people don’t like CVT like I don’t mind it. We are planning to get a 2023 Nissan pathfinder and I’ll see what the 9 speed transmission is all about

That 9 speed is the same one that Honda/acura had in their v6 power trains I'm not gonna get my hopes up Honda got rid of them cause they were clunky and sluggish

I run these tires on my Outback and they’re a little loud and growly like you say, but extremely capable in the snow and even ice.

When I was younger, my parents took us on a west coast road trip in a 2018 QX60 and man those seats in that car were so soft and plush, and after hours I was still super comfy. The seats really aren’t marketing lingo, they’re actually very very comfortable

Love the video (like usual). I live in Los Angeles and I am just amazed how everyone on the highway only uses the left lane to pass, and once they habe passed the person they go right back to the right one. In LA they pretty much just drive in the left lane no matter what

LA is not unique to that haha. Michigan is just pretty good with regards to that. Everyone basically goes 90+ in the fast lane so people generally know to get over if theyre going less than that. Here in Ohio, not so much lol.

I noticed this behavior shift halfway from Las Vegas to LA on the I-15... Caused major delays when there shouldn't have been. I saw people tailgating, flashing high beams, revving, begging the left lane losers to merge right... If they did, they would shift back immediately afterwards. Infuriating

That can be attributed to a mic that really picks up everything with a gain. Hard to judge cabin noise, from a video I think.

They are trying to compensate for the crazy decision to no longer make an Xterra (they literally still make the truck it was based on and look how hot the real 4x4 market is!). But a good product none the less

If I was in the market for a 3 row crossover this would definitely be my pick. Well the SL or platinum Offroad package without adding significant ground clearance and skid plates doesn’t make too much sense in this model to me. Although I’d wait to see the new cx-90 before buying

@@josxph7924 correct, but every 3 row suv should have a big screen regardless of trim. The 7” in this looks tiny. Just look at the new palisade or telluride, huge screens in every trim regardless of price.

S SV and Rock Creek get an 8 inch screen, SL and Platinum get a 9 inch screen. They are rolling out a 12.3 inch screen starting with the Ariya and Altima (in certain trims) and in the X-Trail and Qashqai in Europe. Probably all the models will have it as at least an option in the very near future.

I noticed several videos of the pathfinder, where the “lazy shifting” I’d brought up. Is that transmission a “learning” transmission? If that thing is new, perhaps it’s learning. Just a thought.

The only Pathfinders that tow 6000lbs directly are the Rock Creek and Platinum. The SV and SL only tow 6000ibs if you get their Premium Pkg bkz they add a transmission cooler...this pkg also adds captains chairs. ONLY way to get towing and Bench Seat is with Platinum...even the Rock Creek comes with Captain's Chair.
