And yet somebody who's been around 15 minutes doesn't even have to be considered gets right in I don't understand the process but I do understand the situation. Somebody's paying off someone somewhere. Anyone that still alive that was performing and making music in the 60s 70s 80s should definitely be in there by now before they even consider any of these other groups.

Well this is better than last year’s list . Still no Jethro Tull ? Ian Anderson and Co. were pioneers in steering away from blues cliches and merging rock with British Isles folk and European Baroque and of course they have an army of fans . Only problem was back in the day Ian Anderson was Trump like in that he would strike back at idiot Journalists who leveled unjust ,hackneyed criticisms at Jethro Tull and I think that is a sore spot for those Writers who sit on the Board . Also it was pointed out to me a long time ago that the Suits of the RocknRoll Hall of Fame don’t really like Heavy Metal or Prog Rock. I agree with that assessment .

They have expanded musical excellence and there are those like Boston , Tommy James , the Guess Who & Steppenwolf that could go in there under that heading . John Mayall and Dick Dale definitely fit into Early Influence . Some other favs of mine that should be in ? Of course Jethro Tull and King Crimson but Bachman Turner Overdrive ,Gerry Rafferty , B52s , INXS , Joe Jackson , , Badfinger , ELP , Foghat , 13th Floor Elevators , Captain Beefheart , Suzi Quatro , Joe Cocker , Supertramp, Concrete Blond , America , Peter Frampton , Wishbone Ash ,Fairport Convention . I am not a Heavy Metal fan so I always let them do theirs but I do think Metal is under represented. Guys AIC is the grunge band. Sound Garden going in before Alice in Chains is ok but it makes no sense. When bands want to be a grunge band they often try to copy Layne. We wouldn't have the awesome Godsmack without AIC. They should have been inducted first, then peal jam, Nirvana, STP, Smashing Pumpkins, Sound Garden, etc. They are all great. Marilyn Manson should be in it. He and AIC still get #1 albums to this day. They are both hugely popular and made the footprints for others similar. ☺👍

First off without 👑Connie Francis the very first female rocker, first woman to live woman's lib in a music career by being in charge of her career which was because of MGM dropping the ball right before she got huge is iconic "especially with MGM egos" in the 50s and 60s, she's the first #1 on the Hot 100 in 1960, only one to get bored best vocalist for 7 years straight, sang in over 12 languages, #1 most invited star on Ed Sullivan, introduced American music to Europe, changed hotels and motels for the better after her attack in one, in 1967 She made thousands of US troops in Vietnam hold their hand on their heart with tears in their eyes as they sang God bless America with her which to this day is her proudest moment of her career, today she also helps the veterans and stands for abuse. She was the top female singer to stay at the top until over 30 years later and after that even.. Because Madonna had been around for a decade growing popularity and sales to compete with Connie's HUGE record, we would not have all of these solo female artists without the prototype Connie Francis... 😒 It is an insult that this Rock and Roll Hall of fame has inducted many women singers before her when she should have been inducted as the first or one of the first females years ago. Many of them females who got in were influenced by Connie, including men! Frank and Elvis were big fans and friends with her. Frank and Connie share the same birthday. Belinda from the Go Gos grew up on Connie and performed as her for a show. You guys even choose rappers and etcetera to get in. So some of the people to comment that Connie does pop to guess why she isn't in it is wrong to say that is the reason when you add in all types of genres. Connie does a bunch of genres, rock, country, ballads, folk, foreign, love songs, sad songs, pop, dance, emotional, etc. She sang in over 12 languages as I said, was the #3 top artist of all time in 1989 under #2 Elvis who's the first inductee in the Rock Hall and #1 was The Beatles. It was for the top most successful artists in the world by records sales and etc which can be looked up by proof if you watch the start of her London Palladium concert on KZbin where the announcer talks about the genuine records in the world but please note she didn't have her voice back yet after the trauma she went through with the rape, brothers murder & her surgeries. By 1989 She sold over 100K records! Imagine what it must be at now. She is 85 years old now and we young fans to the vets who have been by her side for 67 years want to see her respected and given what she truly deserves. A place in the Rock n Roll Hall of fame. 🌹Ps other artists, I like Cyndi, I am into Sound garden and am glad other grudge bands are in it but the most important one is not being inducted and they still get #1 albums to this day. Alice in Chains!!! They are the grunge band. Please guys get these two iconic Legends who paved the way for all of these others. ❤ Please do it right.. Not just picking who you particularly are fans of. Either way we all know their power whether on there or not. 👑 🌟Spice Girls are the #1 girl group of all time in sales, popularity, groundbreaking records, staying power and must be inducted if you truly go by sales, popularity and the full package. They matched the Beatles in many ways and even beat them a few times. The Beatles are the #1 male band and Spice Girls are the #1 all female group. To this day they are doing great as always. The 2019 Tour sold out faster than it did even back when the whole world was Spiceworld from 1996 to 2002. ☺❤ Without these 3 Amazing artists we wouldn't have been impacted hugely in music with their influences which are highly credited by tons of other artists and they are #1 artists records wise as I said. Connie and Spice Girls represent girl power in all ways that they created in the world not just by singing and sales but with their footprints for all of the huge records they broke and being the first ones to create it. Rolling Stone magazine said Spice Girls Conquer The World. They did and still do if you know about them now a days you will fully understand why and how they stand the test of time after over 25 years active as iconic Legends. Connie is the solo female artist Legend who always deserved to be recognized in the Hall of fame. It should have already happened when they inducted Diana Ross for example. Connie and The Supremes ruled the 60s. I love them both so much. It should have been Diana Ross and The Supremes inducted though. Not just her.

Neil Sedaka, Johnny Rivers, The Beau Brummels, The Turtles, The Monkees (and Nesmith should be in as a solo artist), Procol Harum, Badfinger, War, Grand Funk, John Denver, The Carpenters, Bread, America, Three Dog Night, Olivia Newton-John, The Guess Who, BTO, Humble Pie, The Raspberries, Styx, Ted Nugent, XTC and The Black Crowes. I've heard that Bob Welch was not inducted as a member of Fleetwood Mac. If that's true it's a travesty and whoever's responsible should be ashamed of themselves.

What has been happening to the RRHOF these past years is sickening. It truly is. And the reported new changes are just more of that downward spiral. There are too many genuine rock and roll people that are deserving of entry. Not only that, people need to go back and re-read what this "institution" of Rock and Roll was founded for - and it was not for the purpose of celebrating pop stars and country stars. It is disgusting when one thinks of the true rock and rollers that are being ignored while non-rock and rollers are being recognized.

I am very happy for Cyndi since I am a fan but it's heartbreaking that they keep ignoring the first female rocker who started it all and nobody could touch records wise for well over 30 years until Madonna had been out for at least a decade or more. 👑Connie Francis is the whole package and should have been inducted in the 80s while Cyndi was in her prime decade having a blast. They do everything all wrong. They usually just pick and choose who they feel like adding in.

Amazing - that's my top list of overdeserving ROCK bands. I'd add Emerson Lake and Palmer, The Guess Who, Jethro Tull, Three Dog Night, and Tommy James & the Shondells. These nominees are mostly NOT Rock & Roll, and others had maybe one song. They're too scared to nominate bands that have millions of fans - restricted voting just like communists. I guess they're holding out for bribe money like the IOC.
