Sorry to hear about your dad I lost mine a little over 4 years ago like you he wasn't into model railroading but he did enjoy what I did with it,glad to see your interest in G scale just now getting into it and loving it.

Thanks for the condolences. Covid is mostly responsible for reigniting my interest in trains. It's a total money pit, but I'm having fun! =)

@ You are so right there after spending the last 12 years in 3 rail O scale I shutter at the thousands I have spent but its a blast and now that Iam switching to G scale here I go again but gotta do something and it keeps me at home and a real sense of pride of what I hope to accomplish

Mark, I sold you the Thompson Hine car. I think it was an Aristo due to size. It was run on the Paul Busse display at Holden Abortorium back in 90's in Chardon for several months. I bought it and another car off ebay years ago, never ran them so decided to sell them.

I'm so glad you commented! Thank you for that information on the Thompson Hine car! I could not remember everything you told me by time I made the video. I did remember you mentioning you had it for quite a while. I thought maybe it was an Aristo because that's the brand I'm the least familiar with and I did not recognize it at all. Cool to know that was right. So fun follow-up... I emailed some pics of it to my attorney at Thompson Hine. She forwarded the pics to the partners in their transportation division. (They frequently handle contracts for railcar leasing, etc,) Apparently those guys went nuts over it, but no one knew anything about where it came from.. After I got some footage and pics to post a review of it, I boxed it up and sent it up to my attorney in Cleveland. It's apparently sitting on s shelf someplace in one of their conferences rooms. It's kinda cool it found its way there.
