The area around your home looks so much like my old stomping ground’s of the imperial valley. Love your mod and I will be copying it. Safe travels

Ok, so NOW I am very jealous!! You have a TAB...oh man....I LOVE those, but will never afford one...sigh...they rock and are very practical. Good preparedness tool too! Nice...Enjoy that great unit!:) You also have practical good ideas for making something work better. I will use that on my tiny tent trailer (a feather weight one that is just right for me and my puppy) A single bed fold out made of aluminum. No rust. Love it. But that idea would be great for some solar storage parts with the battery!:) Cool! Congrats ! Cheers buddy!

Nice, as you said a simple bungy cord over the top will do the job. Trying to convince wife on a smaller TT..lol but with a North to South Bed or twin bed setup. We currently have a new Imagine 22mle. But appariaicte these DIY vids.

J hooks would have worked on that grate. Like the ones for truck bed tool boxes. Hook over the lip on the frame.

That’s a good idea. I haven’t really looked into anything like that yet, but I probably will in the future so far it’s holding it though.

At this point it seems like nucamp is just being stubborn by not providing a solution to this issue!

I know right it should be just a standard option for that expensive of a travel trailer.

So did u get back from Alaska?

Yes we did but still editing videos of the trip. Lots of work!🤣

@@ManCaveMayhemOur longest trip with our t@b was from the Panhandle of FL to Prudhoe Bay Alaska. Three months and over 16k miles. Loved every minute of it and the t@b was great.

What a strange modification. I can think of easier ways to solve this.

👌 OK

Don’t get me wrong, your modification is great but, not everyone has the ability to make those kind of changes. An easier way would be to use 4” ABS tubing with caps to contain the poop tube. I have a question that I have never heard about for the tab400, where’s the spare tire?
@ManCaveMayhem Жыл бұрын
@@paulh699 The spare tire is under the storage box and propane tank in the front of the trailer. Pretty easy access from the side. I was going to go the PVC tube route and may still do that and use that rack for other minor things. The main reason I didn’t is because there are fittings i.e. elbows that probably wouldn’t fit in the tube.
@paulh699 Жыл бұрын
@@ManCaveMayhem I see your point about the ells that would not fit in the tube. We love your vids and am seriously considering getting a TAB400 Boondock for us. The dealers seem far off from St George.

@@ManCaveMayhemper our earlier comment, been RVing with our t@b since 2019 and to be honest, we’ve never used elbows with our stinky hose, so we don’t carry them nor do we carry an extension. The t@b is small enough that I can position wherever I need. The only extension I’ve carried and I don’t always have it is an extra 10’ clean water hose.
