2023 Photo Printers For Journaling

This was long overdue so when it was suggested by Louise that i come up with w new and updated photo printer video, here we are. I will leave the details of the printers and their respective cartridges and refills down below.

I actually think I prefer the Kodak! It’s alot warmer than Canon Ivy prints which I like, cool colors aren’t my jam.

22:00 Yes, the clear winner is QX10, no doubt dye sublimation technology is way superior than ZINC. In my city we can buy QX10 cheaper than the ZINC printers. Paper on Amazon is 15€/20 I think the real competitors of QX10 are the Polaroid Hi-Print 2x3 Gen 2 same image quality, a bit cheaper paper.

I've been using the HP zink paper on my Canon ivy 2, i do not switch out the blue paper and so far no issues with the blue calibration paper

Thanks for the review! This was really helpful! Now I’m curious of mini dye sublimation printers but not much comparison videos… Polaroid high print and Kodak mini2 retro seems like the smaller versions of canon selphy!

I have the PAL and am shopping for a portable photo printer. I am curious to see how the square photos would turn out on the PAL pages from a proportions pov… can you do a video or an Instagram post to show?

The canon mini printer or ivy is marketed as zoemini s in Europe. I don't know why they give different names to the same product lol. I have one and am happy, but watching this i may think of switching when ghis stoos working

Would you be able to do a comparison between the Canon Ivy 1 and Ivy 2? I hear theres a visible difference between the two but there aren’t many comparisons out there. I’m the kind of person who needs a more thorough detailed review xD

Thank you for this! I currently use a Canon Selphy CP910 and an HP Sprocket (original model). I love the convenience, but not the quality/color on the HP, but I think I will try the Kodak paper (hanging on to the blue HP calibration sheets). Does the Kodak come as sticker paper or just photo paper? I love how much brighter their paper is!

I watched your video before buying a Kodak step and was sure you said something about print outs coming out on the half page but now I can’t find it. Has this been an issue for you? I’ve used mine about 12 times now and some prints come out perfect on the paper and others only print out half the image. I can’t seem to find much online that helps either - any advice? Thanks in advance.

Have you tried loading the blue paper again? That’s the only thing I do before printing anything after a while. Hope this helps!!
