This is a lovely breathe of fresh air! One pen, no stickers, no art, just pure function. Love it!

Thank you! I really like to keep it simple, it makes it more likely I'll keep using the planner every day :).

I find pen-only spreads very calming. Colour-coding is too distracting for me so lots of decor is a no-no as well! Love it. Hope it works for you.

Yeah, I like the simplicity for daily use. Some of the elaborate decorating I've seen on other channels is really esthetically pleasing, but I need to be able to put information in and find it again quickly and easily, so one pen is the way for me! Glad you liked it :)

I have been watching a lot of these. Haven’t used a planner book for years - use the Apple calendar app and print out weeks in list format. But the planner is too heavy, so I decided to use Hobonichi weeks to go everywhere with me. Your video presented the clearest, easiest, yet functional way of using this planner. Thank you so much!!!!

I love your setup! One pen only, and it's just pen on paper. No stickers, washis or any decor but it looks lovely. Thanks for sharing your setup! It's so inspiring!

Love, LOVE, L-O-V-E your planner and set-up! I echo another commenter when they said it’s so refreshing to see a truly functional planner without stickers and washi. I love your dashboard and running to-do list, too. Excited to watch your other videos! TYFS!!

This is absolutely wonderful and refreshing! Thank you sooooo much for sharing! This has been so helpful for me! I’ve gotten so lost recently in the planner rabbit hole. I have a chronic illness and I need my planner to be able to track my health issues with that. So at the moment I now have multiple planners and have incorporated my artistic & creative side to them which has become overwhelming. My goals & vision no longer are what I’m focusing on. Thank you for your insight and refreshing take on planning. I’m looking forward to seeing your other videos. And if you want to share your goal process please do 😊💗

Do you think you could share more how you have your dashboard set up? Seems really effective!

Hi Eleanor, what a great idea for a video! I was planning on rewriting my dashboard a bit neater anyway, so that would be a perfect time to film a video :). Thank you for your suggestion.

Thank you for this video! It’s great to see a more straightforward setup that is practical and attainable for those of us who don’t want to spend 8 hours setting up weekly spreads. I have fallen off the bujo wagon multiple times because I just didn’t have the energy, time, or patience to make a weekly spread every time I needed to schedule things I needed to do.

I had exactly the same issue with bullet journaling! I set up a weekly spread maybe twice when I just started and after that it devolved into long daily to-do lists that made me despair every time I looked at them. Having the spreads already set up has helped me a lot.

I’m very curious about the process you used to define your vision. Could you please speak about that and any books, systems or reference materials you use? Thanks!!
@thelostteacup Жыл бұрын
Thank you for your question! I will try to go into it a bit more in my next video. My system, including the vision, is mostly inspired by the book The 12 Week Year, by Brian Moran and Michael Lennington.

I have the same re bouts of reoccurring thoughts. I call it rumination. I have to take a hydroxyzine and sometimes that helps. Hope it gets better for you. It can be frustrating 🖤
