2023 PORSCHE 992 GT3 (Shark Blue) | Pre-Cut vs Custom PPF

Welcome to our latest Project Vlog of this Porsche 992 GT3 in Shark Blue paint color. The car was purchased from Socal and had PPF outsourced by the dealership. Unfortunately, it was your standard Pre-Cut kit PPF with tons of seams. In this video, you'll get to see some comparison shots and explanation of the difference between Pre-Cut PPF installations and our Custom PPF installation. Watch till the end to see the difference!
Below is a summary of this Project, which included Tint, PPF, Ceramic Coating, and Paint Correction.
1) ClearGuard Alpha PPF - 100% custom installed for the most seamless results. ClearGuard Alpha is the best gloss, best optical clarity, most hydrophobic, and self-healing tech.
2) Spectra Photosync IRD (World's Best Heat Blocking Window Film)
- In addition to ClearGuard Alpha PPF, we also tinted the windows with Spectra Photosync IRD, the highest heat, IR, and UV blocking window film in the world. This is the most exclusive window tint in the industry, one that out performs all other tint brands.
3) Modesta BC-04 / EPC (Ceramic Coating)
To top things off, we applied Modesta's BC-04 (Matte Surface Ceramic Coating) and EPC (Exterior Plastic Coating) to give the film and plastic trims some additional protection from the environment.

Wow ... Great job! Quick question, when using one piece of film like on the front hood, mirrors and rear duck tail is the PPF getting stretched causing the film to offer less protection? I'm trying to learn as much as I can because I will have 2 cars arriving and both will need PPF. Thanks

Any reason you don't remove film with a steamer or heat gun? Or does it make no difference in removal? Excellent job with the custom PPF!!

Heat gun is used sometimes. If the weather is warm enough, then it’s usually not needed.
