Alonso is probably the only F1 driver with oval experience so I'd say him

Haas's reserve driver Pietro Fittipaldi actually would have the most oval experience if you count reserve drivers too (if you don't count Palou and O'Ward with McLaren). Pretty sure he ran in ARCA or the Whelan Modified series for a year or two. Wouldn't be surprised if Sargeant has oval experience but I don't think he does.

@@timhefty504Pietro Fittipaldi raced in an Indy 500 so he absolutely have oval experience. That’s not the case for Sargeant, he basically doesn’t have American motorsport experience because he started racing in Europe since he was young

THIS is the real answer, the Indycars make up time on the oval but the F1 cars get a bit of advantage on the road course.

Talladega would have most exaggerated results in favour of the car with the highest terminal velocity, supposing they've all got equal fuel economy.

Indy oval set up is 710HP and 390KM!! The set up for tracks is around 550HP.

Thats not realistic. On high speed tracks and ovals F1 cars can run on low downforce also up to 370km/h

The top speed is primarily achieved through the internal combustion engine (1.6-liter V6 turbo). The electric power unit (MGU-K and MGU-H) mainly enhances efficiency, acceleration, and energy recovery. It provides additional power, especially for acceleration and exiting corners, but it plays a secondary role in achieving the top speed.

They have way more downforce, more drag, heavier, and top out at 210 mph. Whereas Indy has almost as much downforce, very little drag, are lighter, and can top out at over 244 at Indianapolis
