I started a reading journal in 2023. I really enjoy being able to go back and reread what I wrote about the books I read. I also remember a whole lot more from writing down small details about what I read. Thank you so much for sharing your reading journal. I loved all of your very creative spreads! Oh fantastic, I'm so glad you did! I think that keeping a journal contributed to making me want to read more bc of that. It's not only a reading experience now, it's also the stoping and thinking about what you get from a book, what you discovered and what you learned. Have a good year full of good reads! ☺️

Totally agree with you on T Kingfisher, she's one of my new fav authors bc of that! And you're absolutely right, keeping a reading journal helps processing your thoughts. In the end it's kind of like sharing your thoughts with a book club. I hope you get to discover many new favorites this year, enjoy the process, I agree, the goal is not important ✨

I love how you used a kraft journal Filo! This video makes me want to use a kraft or black journal for my next reading journal. I also love your taste in books, I might get some recommendations from this video. Your book reviews are so relaxing to listen to 💛 looking forward to more books this year!

Thank you Icy, that's so sweet of you ☺️ I recommend a kraft journal over a black one bc you can use any pen you want in it, so it doesn't get repetitive and the freeer you are to create the more you will create imo!

J’ai aussi commencé un reading journal de mon côté en octobre, j’ai acheté tellement de livres j’ai hâte de tous les lire. J’adore tes spreads pour les 2 dernier Regency 😍 et j’avoue la couverture du Fantôme de l’opéra mdr pas top ils abusent! 😂 Je suis sûre qu’il existe des versions spéciales plus jolies, je l’ai pas ce livre d’ailleurs et je l’ai jamais lu, ce sera l’occasion de chercher cela. J’ai hate de voir ce que tu vas lire en 2024 😊

Aah rien de tel que de nouveaux livres pour se motiver 😊 Ici je n'ai pas trouvé de plus belle édition pour le Fantôme de l'opéra 😭 mais même avec une couverture moche c'est trop bien. Il arrive à mélanger le gothique, romantique, journalistique et la comédie tellement bien. Je te souhaite une bonne année pleine de bonnes lectures 🥳

@@bujobyfilo oui ben en Suisse pas mieux, il y ‘a une version avec le masque blanc et un fond bleu, c’est déjà plus joli que le masque vert fluo lol, du coup j’hésite à le prendre traduit en anglais , ils ont des plus jolies covers, les livres français font aucun efforts 😭 soit c’est les trucs Gallimard marron moches tous uniformes soit les trucs folios blancs j’en peux plus d’eux 🤣🤣

Omg I've been wanting to read more Dauphne du Maurier! I read Rebecca in school and its still one of my all time favorites! My favorite book of 2023 was The Serpent and The Wings of Night 🤍
