I bought mine here in India and I have to say that this is by far the best laptop on the planet. You get everything you ask for. This laptop is definitely worth it if budget's not the issue for you. And it beats 90% of desktops and is portable along with the peripherals you get with it. It definitely is the best!

@@chrome2744 obviously its working just like it did when I first bought it. I can literally run any game in the world at a smooth flow and the there are no heating issues because the cooling system is so well engineered.

I have not seen one place at all selling this laptop with the 2 power supplies only the 300w...and none come with a backpack or accessories or any kind of bundle. Can you give a link to where we can get the 4090 version with the 2 power supplies and gear included? or was this a reviewer bundle and not actually one for sale?

It is a pity that you did not look under the lid, there was a factory defect on all models, there are no thermal interfaces on the last mosfet, and there are already cases when after a year of use the motherboard became red from high temperatures, therefore, immediately after purchase, take it to the service center to eliminate this defect. The manufacturer saved money on the second display and made a very thick strip at the bottom, although they could have taken this place with the display, we really hope that this will be fixed in the new generation. After half a year, the glass under the second display got worn out, the mount is not very reliable and the lower part scratches the glass. Cooling is extremely poorly thought out, under load, air flows create a lot of noise, even too much. There are 6 speakers, but 4 in fact, two of them are dual, nevertheless the sound is much inferior to the iMac 14 pro. The digital touchpad power button can be disabled in the Asus Armory settings. I was pleased with the battery, in energy-saving mode, when writing code and running the Android emulator, the battery runs down by 18% per hour. The laptop is very heavy, if you plan to leave the house with it, then I highly recommend taking the Asus duo 15 pro model, the main display is slightly smaller, but the second one has the same dimensions, but the laptop itself is much smaller, lighter, lives longer on battery power and on Intel. Also, the keyboard is much more convenient for work there.

For me, the second screen is irrelevant. It is oriented with strange angle. What I'm really looking for is the keyboard layout. I'm sick of laptops tying to fry my fingers. Locating the keys closer, where the battery is, helps to prevent that, since the battery does not normally get hot. That is all I want from the laptop really. It would helped if they also added some vents under the lifting portion (second screen) instead of putting them on the bottom where they collect all the dust. Although I imagine this will require to completely redesign the thermals and internal layout.

Okay, yeah, after watching the video second time I've finally seen it briefly at 5:08. But that actually adds more questions: what is the flow direction? Why there is still intake vents on the bottom? Are these exhaust or intake?

@@atomotron they are exhausts under neath the screen if I am not wrong . (They can be intakes aswell but I am not sure ) but either way , it amounts to more air moving around resulting in better thermals . But although not anywhere near good thermals as a strict scar 18 for example

@@RetroWasNotAavailable got it, thank you. But for me, the whole point of moving vents under the second screen is to remove them from the bottom, where they collect dust and does not allow to use the laptop on your lap. If that has not been achieved, then it is still not good enough for me.

I wonder how using this machine with my custom mount and Wisecoco 14 inch 3840x1100 portable monitor would be. I fabricated my mount to homebrew the majority of utility of the dual monitors of this machine on any machine. 16 inch monitor flanked by an ultrawide mini monitor above and below.

I had same problems with my fist (2022 with RTX3080Ti) version. Would hang.. crash or randomly reboot with no warnings. I sent it back to Asus gor RMA repair 3 times. But every time they did nothing to test or repair.. simply wiped it and reinstalled windows and drivers.... which i had already done multiple times before i sent it back. In the end i sent it back to Overclockers who i brought it from.. they replaced it with the 2023 version with the RTX4090. I have not had any problems with the new laptop. I suspect the old laptop had a power distribution problem on the motherboard ( have had many laptops and motherboards with same power problems). Word of caution: the CPU on these laptops get very very hot. You can get round this by lowering the CPU settings in Armourery crate. As you normally never use more than 20% of the CPU. So can reduce the CPU settings without affecting games etc. Also... note... the air intakes for the cooling fans are above the main body below the second screen. This means that laptop cooling mats wont help with CPU temperatures. A cooling mat does help with better positioning ( for me). And does help keeping the SSD's cooler. Ive used mine out in the desert in Saudi at 40-50° and in sub zero temps with no problems... id say it works great in sub zero temperatures at full power. Itsca great laptop.

I’m only wondering why they still called such design as LAPTOP. Last real Laptop ASUS ROG was made by my personal opinion is G73. Where there was NO vents on the bottom at all. Air flow came from keyboard and went to back. Still has it’s 3D version. Never gave any overheating problems. All current are very super powerful/expensive dust sucking collectors. Plus expensive lol Do anyone know the same no vents on the bottom design on gaming laptops might be from other manufacturers?

While ingame the temp exceed up to 99c So you need to undervolt the ryzen 9 Or else the laptop will not last long for 3 years
