2023 Sinister 7 Fifty Miler

I have run the Sinister 7 100-mile race three times. This year, I decided to drop down to the 50-mile distance and really focus on enjoying my race.
A large part of why I run is not only for my physical fitness but also my emotional and mental fitness. This video is dedicated to the memory of Mike Hamel, who lost his battle with mental health shortly after this race. Our hearts go out to Jen and all of Mike's family.

I’m 53 walking 6 miles a day 6 days a week. I’ve gone down from 340 lbs to 300 pounds. For some reason I want to walk 26.2 miles. This video is very inspiring and helps keep me motivated. Thank you.

Well done bud - I ran that exact race last year and it was fantastic! Such a great course. Going down that last leg in the dark on that ultra technical trail wasn't amazing but everything else was amazing:) You crushed it. Well done and great video.
