TOUR Magazin says the Tarmac SL8 surprised them. After decades of aero testing bikes, they know what aero features look like. They said the Tarmac lacked many... i.e. it didn't look like an aero bike... but it's aero performance was nonetheless quite good. Combined with light weight and high stiffness, we gotta give Specialized credit; it seems they did something special in this bike.

True mate, i was really surprised, it feels snappy, just like the cervelo s5, but this bike won’t beat you up on a high grade climbs
