I have a blast everyday with my Wilderness '23. I love this puppy, it has the getup to get past the Zombs, and on road trips with the eyesight cruise control, it's perfect once you turn off the steering correction. Best car I've ever owned aside the bloated Android Auto tablet on the dash, which I just don't care about anymore.

I had a 2023 cross trek and was looking at getting a 2023 Forester, But after hearing that the Outback has the 2.4T I’ll be getting the Outback. Plus it just seems a lot more capable all around

I want one of these bad!!!!....i love the look of the wilderness package!...i already built mine on Subaru's website!...im a toss up on the green and the silver or white....i want to go with a color that not many people are going to pick on their wilderness so im leaning more towards silver.... but i absolutely love what subaru has done with the design and the looks and i really love the wheels!.... awesome review!...thank you soo much for showing us the Outback Wilderness!

One thing to mention, that I don’t see anyone mention, is the break hold functionality. It’s off when you buy it but turn it on and when you stop, you can take your foot off the break. It’s a great feature! Porsche is the only other manufacturer that i know that has it

I like that the Toyota doesn’t have a cvt and the clearance is almost the same as the Wilderness (.1 different). Off-road is close, towing Toyota but everyday use Subaru. You will save a few grand with the Subaru, smoother drive and you can hold more cargo on the roof 👍

I'm so torn. I have a 2018 Toyota Rav4 FWD and want to trade it in for the 2023 Outback Wilderness. I want the off-road ability and power of the Subaru my Rav4 doesn't have, but I've never owned a new Subaru and am worried about the reliability if that makes sense? I don't want to trade in my car that has no issues other than its not powerful/capable enough for a car that is and that I reallyyyy want and then have to deal with it potentially not being up to my standards. It really does seem like a good car though! Any subaru owners wanna touch on the reliability/car issue factors?

Hey buddy, so my wife and I got the 23 outback as we had a kid. Its great... I looked into everything on the car from the engine, transmission, awd system, safety etc... so the awd system is amazing. I live in wester Canada fairly up North and it is amazing is crummy conditions. We LOVE it. The engines are sound and reliable I have friends with outbacks and one friend has a 22 and has already put 105K Kms on it.... (drives for work) no issues. Just like anything do your regular maintenance and it will be fine. Its drives really nice, smooth and feels like a car. Its a IIHS+ top safety pick, which was highest priority on my list 2nd reliability. For the price (atleast in Canada) it was by far the best bang for buck and I looked at EVERYTHING. It is jut a great all around vehicle. Especially the ground clearance tied with the awd system.. ridiculous. But yea man, its a great vehicle. If you did trade it in, I think you be happy.

I have the ‘23 OBW. The only issue I had was condensation in rear light covers. The dealer replaced them and haven’t had anymore problems. Other than that, I’m very happy with my purchase. I took possession of mine in November and since put 15,000 miles on it. I love it. This is my 1st Subaru 🤞 lol

I appreciate you all! I'm pretty sure I'm going to pull the trigger on the Outback - I'm going between dealerships now for the best price. It really does feel like a good car and the 180 to 260 horsepower bump is really nice 😅 I think it'd be perfect for my regular week driving with the occasional light adventuring.

why i feel the engine and all HARD WEAR so good but the interior material kind sucks:> just got my 23 outback wilderness white , nothing wrong exterial but interior kinda feel cheep so much plastic
