ive rode through far worse than this and you would have too. plus in most cases drama free. in this area it must be a more slippery kind of mud as the ground there is heavily peppered with small quartz rocks. i usually stop about one klm further on .totally different soil type. either way i might have to look into better tyres further down the track but not that track...lol

Warro, glad you weren’t injured with that one. Puddles hide everything. Hidden ruts can throw off any bike regardless. Good plan to stay away from that black hole. Very nice that folks are willing to assist. Surprised the bars twisted but should be an easy adjustment. Great content, thanks for sharing. Lots of folks would leave that footage on the edit room floor.

yeah i like to show it as it is. that way one can count that im showing all aspects and not caning others. up untill 3 weeks ago i had never come off any bike over 10 years back on them and i've been on quite a few. then i hit a rough patch and two different bike dropped at slow speed in the very same mud hole too. even i find that part hard to believe but i never had the camera the day the classic 350 toppled over. saddlebag framed held it more upright and i was able to just pull it back up -not so with the vstrom 250 sidestand dug deep into the mud and i had to use a stick to dig it out so it would fully retract. ive been down that track heaps of times but i usually went to the far left and along the edge of it - no issues but on the two ocassions i tried to ride straight through....party over for me...lol

You wee fortunate to be able to restart the bike after the fall. My last ride on a bike (scooter) was a Majesty400 about 6 years ago. I was going to work when a driver coming back in the other direction. It was rainy and I was doing 80kph. Hit the breaks and the bike slide down the road. I had broken my back 18 months earlier and was relieved that I’d done no further damage, but the bike wouldn’t restart; I found out later, because of that kill switch if it gets dropped. I’d planned to get a postie bike till I saw your video on the CB125f. Looks like a lot of fun to ride on dirt roads and other adventures. Will purchase one soon. Stay safe.

yeah i had an issue with the classic 350 reborn and a cel when it slipped in exactly the same area. i thought i'd be safe on this bike as its tyre pattern was more agressive but i think we can safely call that idea ...wrong....lol i've had 2 of the honda ct125 trails and although they look the part and similar to and enfield single in eye candy alone...lol the cb125f is still a much better bike for half the money or here it is at aud$3600 vs aud$7800 if you can still pick one up. i had plans to take out the cb125f yesterday but bad weather here but again its a nice little bike and good value

@@christga100 looks better standing up but not too bad on the ground either...lol did you go back and re-test the hunter 350. i'm just waiting now for the importers to send a 023 plate bike to the dealer as i said i wouldn't take the 022 plate bike in stock i'd like a bike a bit away from first run of imports as my classic 350 were in those areas. no real issues apart from faulty speedos but i think they have had time to smooth out any hunter issues if any.
@ridewithwarro
@ridewithwarro Жыл бұрын
@@christga100 i expect the hunter will be a better bike to ride especailly down low in the mid range area but not as good to look at as a classic 350 reborn. well thats what i think but in time i will find out. even the classic 350 once those saddlebags go on and even if they are just for show -its much harder to get them up on the centre stand too plus i removed the grab handle as i dont like the look of them and doesnt help much either. when i was buying the 500 i thought they were just gutless sewing machines buzzing along and i hit most of them immediately with better plug and sports exhaust. those two moves alone woke them up. never done much to the 350 reborn as it sounds fine and i know the xmax will beat them and a 500 anyway...lol plus the vstrom would bowl em over pretty easy too. 350 or 500 gotta face it..enfield and power twins yes but singles...lol

Great clip, and good on you for putting it up! I wonder though if that body work makes it harder to grab the bike to lift it when it's down? Gear linkage and hand guards look a bit flimsy for an adventure bike but at $6.5 K you shouldn't expect more. I've been rescued lots of times by motorists over the years. People are mostly much nicer than you might think - although I did once have a someone pull a gun on me 'just in case'!

hard call there as they are both great little bikes to own. i think it would depend up your budget and the suzuki would be a good option if you like the idea of cruising along the open road at 100 kph and pulling hills much easier. but again dont rule out the cb125f as it too is a great little bike for the money. naturally not as quick but i had it out where i dropped the suzuki in that muddy section and i was cruising along at 90 kph which it appears to like. so in my case its a very hard call to say which one as both are great bikes....lol ask me an easy quiestion like classic 500 and classic 350 reborn and i'd tell you straight. the 500 if you like trouble and fixing bikes or the 350 reborn if you just want to ride and enjoy...lol
