Nexon diesel user, ODO at 72000 kms plus, pure mile munching mileage machine. Chiller ac, beautiful music system and drive at 85-95kmph, it still manages to give close to 27-28 kmpl. Sometimes I do mileage run for fun and keeping it around 80-85 kmph and FE refuses to come below 30 kmpl. It is the ultimate highway cruiser. One can easily get 22-24 kmpl at 100-110 kmph. What a machine. The turbo is frikin sweet in 3rd gear, just pulls and pulls. Yesterday it did 60 in first gear while redlining. I was amazed given the fact that its 5.5 year old. What a bang for buck machine, at least the BSIV variant, don't know about the BSVI one.

Own bs6 phase 1 Nexon diesel clocked 32000kms in 15 months. Here are my mileage figures. Maximum 30kmpl (on MID for 200+ kms distance) Maximum 27.4 Kmpl (tank to tank for 800+ kms distance) Normally I get 20-22 kmpl in city+highway mixed, but majorly highway run.

Try driving with cruise control it will further improve the mileage. I am getting around 18-20 on Nexon petrol and on highway around 22+ with cruise control on speed around 80-85.

@@dharmika9120 Incabin Space in identical . Nexon have alot better seat comfort and cushioning. In bootspace department Nexons boot is 382/350 liters vs 373/265 liters in Gv. The only difference I felt while driving Grand Vitara/ Hyryder is longer Bonet size and jackup sedan like driving position.where's Nexons bonnet is also chunky while in Nexons facelifts bonnet is even more bolder. while driving Nexon its feel like driving a proper compact SUV.

If you check the weights of the vehicles, the nexon is wider but has a shorter wheelbase than the kia. Having said that, it is heavier so is it expected that the kia returns more FE.

Fuel economy test should be done from autostop to autostop. Filling up to the brim damages the sensors and produces false numbers. I damaged the sensors in my car due to this idiotic thing done by the service center people when complained about mileage. If possible please do the same test by stopping the fuel filling when the pump stops automatically.
