The birds were flying opening day, my first season since I was a teen and my son’s first season. We so many birds and ended up with 3 gw. Watching you and your dad nail some BW was cool. We had quite the paddle to get to our spot also!

So glad to see someone verbally calling they have a line or mark on the downed birds and not shooting again till they have that mark locked into memory. My nephew ticks me off with his impatience with shooting a bird and then going for another even before the last one hits the water, then asks me where the first one went down. Trying to teach him, do not shoot at another bird until you have the first downed bird marked.

Yes, she is spayed and I really regret that decision. If you’re looking for a top class dog, George’s father has a litter on the ground right now at Flatlander Kennels. George’s father is one of the best dogs in North America.

Second and third shot would have been 35+ yards going away. People only take one shot on those type of passes when they care about being ethical and not crippling birds.
