I agree with the decisions. Precision was the cleanest and flipped the record into something else instead of looping the call and response of an already famous ear worm. Abbot was pretty sick though the way he was playing rock drums with the turntables. On a technical level Taiji was my favorite dude is a robot.

One thing that the old footage from precision reminds us is that digital vinyl actually adds messyness and sloppyness to juggles. Notice how clean and seemless they are.. I have noticed this on the RARE occasion I go BACK to juggle practice on vinyl. The VERY slight latency on them and the digital pickup relay system is not conducive to extreamly difficult "Vinyl Drumming" If you LISTEN to juggles in the past on vinyl, excellent DJs could make it sound seemless, almost as if it wasnt being juggled. The digital age is a sort of death of the art.

that elite guy from Japan is dope and creative.... nothing from the other guys and gals i just prefer to see something different from someone unsuspecting ....ya know that rarity type of thing....there are obvious other standouts for sure like that man precision but you expect routines like that from ....Nago def through something crazy for the home team...that Jurassic 5 was crazy...i love every bit of it, who am i kidding lol ....next year

Good stuff from Precision! My favorites in the preliminary were Rescue and Nino Leal. Check their routines for funky juggles, no button pushing.

Rescue ,his choice of beat is played out and old.There where djs better than him.For example Subrinho,JT(China ),Skipless, Head Garcia.Checked twice? Theres no statistics about that lol.

There should be rule where the track(s) they use is played on each side before the routine so we know what exactly they are using to create the beat juggle. This means the track should flow when played by itself but should sound doper after juggled.

I stopped watching when dude was DJ’ing with that Phase crap !!!.. can’t stand serato and “ tech “ DJ’ing .. there’s an element of difficulty and rawness missing from the artform , not that hard to press a button and pull up a perfect cue point , as opposed to marking an actual vinyl copy of a record and being able to find those cues .. that’s knowing your records !!!.. digitally , it’s easier if you don’t have to worry about the needle skipping or jumping .. I miss how we did it back in the day !!!.. DJ’ing is dead .. it’s something different now , just like “ Hip Hop “ .. a dead artform !!!
