That is pretty sweet. I wish you could disable features from the front. I'm not sure if I want people in the back controlling the music. It would super awesome if I was a uber driver. This is definitely a must-have. Good review.

@@baht_and_paid radio can be overridden from the front but not the seat as it only connected to that rear display and not MCU of the car.

hi did you not also have to transfer the chrome type trim surrounding the usb ports and unit from the original to the hans show as well? the way you have it seems to look like a piece is missing.

Hi, there is no chrome trim at tip of USB C ports to be transferred to Hansshow unit. All there is just metal material which is the actual USB C port itself. You just need to transfer AC vent, USB C ports and metal clips. Thank you for watching and your awesome support!🙏😃

Can the fan speed be controlled independently from the front fan speed? That is, if I increase the fan speed from the back, does that increase the fan speed up front too?

Hi Kenneth, when I tried to increase fan speed from rear display it only increase in the rear but when I turn off the climate in the rear from the display while the fan speed on high on the rear display, it will automatically push that high fan speed to the front for some reason. I would try to turn off the car power and unplug the plug that connect to the MCU and plug it back in then turn on the car back on. Like I said I never install it so it hard for me to help you figure it out with the actual unit with me.

Mine doesn't work. If i plug everything in, the screen stays black. The screen itself works as soon as I connect the USB C with a computer. But not when it's mounted in the car. Any ideas? Is there any way to reset the software or something?

So your display worked when it is not install back to the rear counter console But after you install and mont it on the on the car it stop working? maybe try to loosen the two silver screws where you mounted the air vent to the back of display. It might be too tight and pushed PCB board in the back of the display and causing it to malfunction.

@@dadstoyscars Thank you. I opened it up again and took a closer look at the circuit board. There is some kind of burned resistor on it. I don't know if PimpMyEV doesn't do any quality check or something. I hope that they are going to fix that. If i power the screen via its USB C port everything works fine.

They need an option to disable all the features that affect the whole car. I would only want this to allow control of the rear fans and seat heaters. Other than that, no music controls and no passenger seat controls, that's ridiculous and actually turned me away from this product as it would be a bigger headache than it is to just be asked.

You can’t tell the quality of the display from the video but the UI looks really bad. Unfortunately there is no other rear display that keeps the original fan grid so I bought it because it’s useful.
