Welcome to disc golf paradise as we're at the Airborne Preserve for the 2023 Preserve Championship Power by Prodigy Discs. This piece of land owned by Leiviska Disc Golf is the next step for professional disc golf. This is the 10th DGPT event of the 2023 season. This event is held in Clearwater, MN.

It sucks because one of the volunteers made a loud noise just as Noah released his disc on the drive of 12. That's why he shanked it into the crowd. He was on such a roll too 😢

Nathan and Ian from CCDG are my favourite calm commentators. I sometimes put on some old footage from CCDG when I go to sleep. I also love how you can hear when Nathan is smiling just by listening to his voice.

@@Ran-tan-tan also a big fan of Nathan and Ian. Fish is ok but the monotone, straight forward, no excitement is getting old to me. For instance, at 17:00 , Nathan should have spoken and would have made Calvin's shot much more insightful and fun to watch, as he would have put a little emphasis into how sweet of a shot that was, but Fish just explains it to us like we are in h.s. science class

-13 with 2 bogeys is pretty insane. Calvin is having one HELL of a year. IDC what anyone says, this is one of, if not THE, best years in disc gold history. Sure, other players have done better number wise, but the depth of the field right now is so much deeper than ever before, and the courses are harder than ever too.

@n8mcq (Nathan), Since you are in hockey land this week, I thought I should mention the use of "turkey" and "gobble". In professional sports, the turkey is a life achievement goal. And it's a big deal when a pro does it. In DG 3 birds happen daily. Why I mention this is you and Fish are by far the most professional commenters I have heard. Your knowledge of so many players, and strategy decisions based on them is really good for anyone trying to improve their game. I hope you two remain paired as long as possible. If I was paying the bills, I would definitely keep you with salary increases.

What sport are you talking about? I’ve heard turkey mostly for three strikes in a row in bowling and that happens even more often than 3 birdies in a row in disc golf

Lizotte did a 360 distance shot in between the holes almost hitting a spectator and it was classed as a practise throw. In the interwiew with simon he told us it was his way of showing how good he is even if he couldn't score well enough.

hole 14 was a reminder to me that though these pros and i play what is called "disc golf" for both of us they play what is almost a different sport... all had bomb drives and as their discs came to rest i could see "my tee pad"

Do people prefer to watch the chasecard before the leadcard? ..I dont :( For me I like to see leadcard F9 then Chasecard F9 -> leadcard B9 -> chasecard B9.
