3:04 I agree. Intellipark is, for the most part, stupid as I prefer the physical push/pull knob for air brakes. If there were a version of Intellipark for hydraulic brakes, that would be great because I hate the foot pedal a lot. I've broken 2 cables on older C2s now because of that stupid pedal. Electronic parking brakes are better suited for hydraulic brakes, not air. End of discussion.

HDX is basically a C2 but the engine is located at the rear rather than the front.

I think that parking brake is cool, the jouleys in my county have them and they definitely prevent the driver from failing to set the parking break

And P.S. I believe this bus has blue seats. If you look at the sunlight from the front I can tell those seats look blue not grey.

Thomas C2's are the best buses ever built in my opinion. I would be the happiest in the world to buy a C2 to own but they are just so hard to come across from what I am looking for. I want to buy one newer than 2011 because of the upgraded 6.7L Cummins. I want to put those LED headlights w/ the bug screen and black grille.

is it just me or did the gague cluster seem smaller than normal? like it seems a little more compact and smaller than I remember... also I to really hate the intella park parking brake why would you wanna computerize a parking brake smh.

It is. Freightliner redesigned the gauge cluster a few years back and made the smaller. I hate it. I preferred the old style. Much easier to see.

It is great this school bus have a led headlights. For 20 Century .we not in 19 century with old school lights . On coming year all car van suv bus and truck

Because they offer the LED headlights on the diesel C2s as well. Most (if not all) electric buses utilize LED lighting because it uses a lot less power, which helps the batteries get more use on one charge.

@lisahinton9682 what's the point of living if you can't have a little bit of fun? Finding humor in the little things makes it a little easier to deal with the day-to-day challenges we face. I know the design wasn't intended to be inappropriate, but I still find it to be amusing. It's not my fault they included the lower bulge in the handle design to really sell the phallic nature of the handle's silhouette 🤷‍♂️
