@@10PercentForTheBigGuy Hello, worked at a Toyota dealership for a few years. Toyota has 2 years free maintenance which is about the term of an average lease. If you want to keep it longer they also have an option to extend the maintenance plan. My current corolla 2015 is getting avg 28mpg an extra 10mpg would definitely save me money right away.

The Corolla might be one of the most reliable and durable cars ever built. You hit 300,000 miles and it's just getting broken in. But the only thing I would personally like to see Toyota do is keep the manual transmission. Keep the gear oil changed and a Toyota manual can go 1 million miles. They are about as bullet proof as you can get.

Watching from Philippines, I had a Toyota Corolla 1994 GLi M/T second hand, i used it for 7 years (2004-2010) Then I had Toyota Corolla Altis 2003 M/T second hand, i used it for 3 years (2011-2013). Then I acquired a Brand New Toyota Corolla Altis 2015 M/T, i'm still using up to now (2022) no more issues except for the wear and tear, (170,000 kms and counting), Note: for the 1st year of driving, record of 22kms/per liter. Sport Mode has me laughing maniacally because it's so much fun. Filling her up at the pump doesn't take much either and the gas lasts me all week. Future plans: going to a concert and UFC event soon enough; maybe Mardi Gras in NOLA!

I am glad you bought many version of the corolla, 1981 you had 7 versions. Keep the corolla reliable as generation 2000, i see those still on the road today. I had two corolla's, 1981 and 1996, my 1996 drove better than the FRS. One of the best driving corolla. I am glad Toyota has kept safety a priority for the Corolla and Rav4, and the whole line up. I am glad toyota stays a purist company offering engaging cars and base models. I think the corolla still needs another performance edition under the GR corolla to compete with the mazda 3 sport cornering and handling, and bring back the manual for purists. Keep pushing for High safety standards such from the IIhS.
