Opiniyon ko lang po ito at kakukuha ko lang din ng white na conquest.. I suggest sa mga nalilito pa din hanggang ngayon kung anong unit ang kukunin niyo eh mas okay na puntahan niyo sa showroom para makita niyo ng actual ang unit. Dun kayo makakapag decide pati color pag nakita niyo mismo. I preferred D'Max LSA, Navara VL and Fortuner G lang nung una, pero nung nakita ko tong Conquest ng malapitan at masakyan eh iba talaga, pogi.. sa dimension eh mas malaki siya compared sa competitors niya, kaya macho talaga.. Color Black AT ang gusto ko pero nauwi ako sa Conquest 4x2 MT Super white II, Ang ganda ng color na to, ang angas ng dating ng pickup truck na manual.. dito samin sa Toyota Lipa haba ng pila sa Conquest na white, kaya tiyaga tiyaga lang sa pag antay, pero wag niyo pa abutin next year at magmamahal ang sasakyan gawa ng excise tax, kaya napakuha na din ngayon.. dagsa ngayon ang mga tao sa mga showrooms dahil sa nagbabadiyang excise tax.. kung may plano ka din pala kumuha next year eh ngayon na bago tumaas ulit ang presyo.. yung ibang kaibigan namin na innova ang kinuha, nagsisi sila at sana nag conquest din daw sila.. nagandahan talaga sila nung makita yung conquest ko, saka yung difference sa price, hindi mo ganung iindahin basta gusto mo talaga yung unit na kinuha mo para hindi mo pagsisihan.. saka alam mo na quality talaga yun sasakyan mo, kasi like sa toyota, ang fortuner at conquest ay hindi o bihira magpromo.. Kaya pag magpunta kayo sa mga delear eh ubusan at pipila ka talaga sa unit na to.. doon pa lang, alam mo ng value for money ka na..

Features wise, panalo Hilux. 4x2 Wildtrak, Dmax, and Strada walang active safety features. Present yung active safety features sa Navara pero yung Hilux lang yung may adaptive cruise control. Sorry, talo yung Dmax and Strada sa 4x2 top of the line, kahit LED headlights, wala.

4x2 pickup trucks have higher payload (±226 kgs. in Hiluxes of the same model) & towing capacities, better handling (due to less curb weight) & braking at 85+ kph speeds, better fuel economy, cheaper purchasing price & maintenance, and less parts that can break, than 4x4's. Just bring anti-skid devices just in case & drive better vs mud. In short, 4x2's are overall better road pickup trucks than 4x4's. Unless you do real off-roading, which very rarely happens, if it even happens, but can still get a 4x4 mud stuck or if you want more grip, for some reason, in speeds less than 85 kph (4x4's H4 speed limit), or if you're the soft, sensitive type who's conscious to being perceived as "not macho enough", then the 4x4 is right for you.

Agree. toyota is much more expensive and gives you less than its competitors. If it's aftermarket sale then ford is worse than toyota as toyota is much more cheaper but in regards to that Nissan also comes into play and other japanese pickups. In conclusion, there is no perfect car, the only perfect car is the one you like.

Sulit na sulit ang Hilux Conquest boss Adrian lalo na itong 2.4-litre (2GD-FTV) ang makina, moreso ang manual transmission version nito…. Malakas kung malakas, lalo na pag naka-powermode, parang di gasolina humatak. Iba na ang technology ngayon, kahit maliit makina (kumpara sa 1GD-FTV na 2.8-litre o mga 3.0-litre pa na iba gaya ng D-max at BT-50) malakas na sila. In fact kahit hindi ka na mag powermode, kaya tumakbo ng 170 kph. Sa akyatan din sa Baguio (Kennon Road and Marcos Highway), malakas humatak as long as the powerband is singing above 1600 rpm at huwag mo lang hayaan bumaba ng husto ang rpm at nasa right gear ka (dahil nga maliit pa rin ang 2.4-litre na displacement kumpara sa mga 3.0-litre o 3.2-litre na puede mo pagapangin ang malaking displacement)…. Mas gusto din niya kung kargado ang likod kahit akyatan pa dahil pag stabilised ang suspension sa likod or ‘squatted’ siya ng konti sa rear nang hindi talbog nang talbog, mas maganda ang transfer ng power sa rear wheels, at traction na rin. Matapos ang 15,500 km so far sa combined Metro Manila-AngelesCity-Subic-Baguio-NLEX-SCTEX-TPLEX-Kennon Road-Marcos-Highway-MacArthur Highway driving na combined normal mode at powermode (hindi ako nag-eco mode dahil nababagalan ako), ang average fuel consumption ko ay 13.8 km per litre sa ngayon. By 20,000 km PMS, magu-fully synthetic na ko at tignan natin ang consumo niya by then dahil mas fluid at less ang hydraulic resistance ng fully-synthetic oil. Ganon pa rin ang change oil schedule na susundin ko despite the synthetic oil - every 5000 km pa rin…. Cheers!

Thank you for the review! Bought one 3 months ago. As a 4x2, it's perfect for both as a daily and for business - better fuel economy, higher payload capacity, etc. This is the perfected (last) 4x2 version of the tough 8th generation Hilux which won the 2022-2023 International Pickup Award held in France, even beating the Jeep Gladiator. I decided to buy this one than wait for the next-generation Hilux in 2023 because from that year onwards is electric cars' era even for Toyota, buying an ICE vehicle from that point doesn't feel right IMO. If you're the type who waits for the last version of a generation, then this is for you. 👍🏾

Oo, pero expected kasi pickup truck, may pros naman kapag matagtag unless we’re talking about ride comfort. Rear seats? Pwede na rin, comfortable for two people, but can safely accommodate 3. Yes, this is the 2023 model. Yes, new body coming this 2023 for the 2024 model, 9th generation. Kaso ang 9th generation likely magooverlap sa first generation ng electric cars ng Toyota, may include the first electric pickup truck.
