Have you ever noticed peppermint like either the twisted peppermint or even diffusing Now Clear the Air which is peppermint almost leave a flora smell? Like a suntan lotion smell. I love it haha. Maybe it's just me but it took me a while to figure it out. Now I wish I had bought more twisted peppermint wallflowers 🌸🌷

Hey Lauren ❤ I don't really do a full seasonal cleaning , I do what needs to be done daily, weekly, monthly etc. With the exception of windows , vents . Love the rug!

Yay Lauren! I’m here but doing cleaning later on. Great tip for baseboards. I like to start spring cleaning as soon as I can keep windows open for a few hours. I usually just go on what i know. I use to wipe down doors but now I’m gonna use spin mop. Genius!!! Congratulations on baby b to come. Btw, sis had baby boy 2 weeks early. 😊 Have a great week!!

I'm curious if I'm the only one that has this problem or if you've answered this in the past. What kind of paint is on your walls? I want to clean my walls like this but we have a flat paint so we can't wash without it looking worse. Any tips? Congratulations 🎉🎉 So excited to see part of your journey

I’d say look for a low sheen paint that is scrubbable like a Matte, Satin/Eggshell, or Low Luster….each paint company has low shine paint that has varying degrees of scrub ability . We went with a low shine paint that was very scrubbable, but the higher the shine of the paint the better the washability. That’s why in high traffic areas like baseboards, trim, doors, and bathrooms you tend to do more of a medium to high shine because it’s wayyyyy more scrubbable. Flat does look good but it’s mainly used for closets, ceilings, and rooms with very low traffic. Normally matte/ Satin/eggshell - living room, bed room- maybe kitchen Simi Gloss- child’s room, bathroom, kitchen, trim or doors Gloss/ high gloss- doors and trim Flat- closets, ceilings, garages and also you can usually get away with a wayyyyy cheaper priced paint in these areas. We chose matte in the living room because, the lower the shine the better the paint is at hiding the imperfections on the walls. It’s all Give and take lol Hope that helps!!

@@JosephRomanick Wow, thank you 🥰 That helps a lot. I have texture issues 🤣 so I prefer glossy. I always have a hard time describing the type of paints. My husband and I are currently having a house built so the painting process is coming up fast. I appreciate that so much.

@@nicoledennis5543 ha! Painting is Deff exhausting, the best advice go get those little samples and try it on the walls because the lighting is what screws everything up. Lauren and I were totallly on diff pages with paint color and when hers was put on the wall I was like ohh wow you win lol. Lighting changes everything, it’s crazy. We painted the whole house together😂😂 wish we filmed that. It was actually smooth she did all the trim and cutting around the tight edges and I did all the major walls and the in between. Y’all would have cracked up listening to us 😂😂
