Introducing the 2023 Sadowsky MetroExpress Hybrid P/J 5 bass! In this video, Andy Irvine presents another member of the newly updated Sadowsky MetroExpress family of basses, featuring roasted maple necks, roasted maple or morado fingerboards and many different finish options. These basses are also equipped with the innovative Sadowsky Just-A-Nut III adjustable nut, allowing you to fine-tune your setup for perfect playability. Other notable updates include the new string retainer (same as is found on Sadowsky MetroLine basses), Invisible Fret Technology (IFT), and rounded fret ends for a comfortable, smooth playing experience. Plus, from now on, a genuine Sadowsky logo graces the headstock of all new MetroExpress instruments.
The bass in this video features a stunning metallic blue finish and hybrid P/J pickups. They do not. They only come in the J shape, but I'm right there with you. I would love one in a P shape!

Correct. That’s another difference between the Metroexpress & Metroline/Masterbuilt models.
