It's a CZ Shadow 2. Thumb rests are legal in CO as long as they're a functioning part. Companies are making takedown levers for CZ, Sig, and Glock that also serve as thumb rests.

Yes. Each gun is checked at the Chrono stage by certified range officers. I wouldn't use an illegal part and then post about it (or use it lol).....

I just went through the rules for carry optic on USPSA site and I can't find anything that says a thumb rest it allowed. Must be something brand new.

It isn't new. Frame mounted thumb rests are not legal for CO, but replacementatermarket slide stop levers are. That is a slide stop lever with a rather large ledge which doubles as a thumb rest.
