Thus, Justice Clarence Thomas should have - at the very least - disclosed information pertaining to the gifts received. You can read more about the rules surrounding SCOTUS conduct on the Supreme Court’s website. Also, calling someone “stupid” hardly fosters an amicable discussion environment. Unlikely, given that women, particularly those of color, are still actively discriminated against by the press. Hilary Clinton is certainly no saint, but the press engaged in decades of smearing her character, because she was actively attempting to bring Americans a better healthcare system, during her time as First Lady, instead of decorating the White House and planning little First Lady soirées. The press was certainly more kind to Michelle Obama, who wisely laid low and followed the First Lady playbook. Kamala Harris, as Vice President, doesn’t have that luxury.
