Nice to you back on the tube Herb. Your style is relaxing in some odd way. Keep up the videos you may not understand how much people learn from these, but they do. at least I have. Thanks!

Hey thank you for all your videos on stringing. I've been playing tennis with the wife for over a year now and we have accumulated more racquets than we should, so I decided to start stringing. I've done like 5 string jobs now and am teaching the wife too as she kind of wants to learn. Your videos are are very helpful and I'm learning a lot from you. It's fun watching an expert get into a rhythm as well.

Herb, thanks. I just strung one and the mains are supposed to be tied on 6T based on Wilson’s website but you did 8T. Why? I noticed if I follow their instructions it makes it really hard. Thanks in advance.

I tie the crosses off on 6T

You said 8T at 4:12

Correct. I tie the mains at 8T. That leaves 6T open for me to tie the crosses. It is easier and looks better.

@@HerbBaird thanks Herb. yeah I agree, I was just wondering how did you know it would be easier despite Wilson’s recommended pattern says to tie at 6T.

You can tell just by looking that their recommendation cuases the strings on the outside of the frame to pass each other. It made no sense to me why you would want longer runs that pass each other.
