To be honest I think that anyone that is plucking the strings for sound is going way overboard on the process. After you hit a ball a couple of times, the tensions will even out and adjust on each string.

Thank you for the video, I do not string the racquet by myself (I have exactly the same racquet, VCORE 100 2023). I checked if my stringing was done properly. I have two problems with this racquet. 1. The string does not last long (around 50% compared to the same string in Ezone 100). This could be due to the more spin potential and the silicon grommet. 2. The bigger problem is following. With the new string (does not matter which brand, RPM blast, PtP Pro, Technifibre black code), everything is fine. But after 1-2 hours of playing, the vibration from the racquet to the handle is getting higher, even with the vibration dampener install. The racquet feels like without the vibration dampener inserted into the strings. I also tried different string tension, like 25/24kg, 24/23, 23/22, but the problem is the same. And stays until the string breaks and I have new string. Then up to two hours of great playing and the vibration problem appears again. Please do you have any idea/recommendation, what could be the root cause of these vibrations?
@HerbBaird
@HerbBaird Ай бұрын
@RapManCZ without having the racquet, I can not diagnosed. I would assume cracked or split grommets, cracked frame, or possibly the tail of the knots is cut long and you can hear of feel it hit the frame.

I don't think it's very common for a 18 main to do ATW just like most 16 main rackets. Usually 18 mains ends main at top and make everything way easy. Correct me if i was wrong. Really not string any 18 main rackets this whole year.

I do play this racket 5 years and I always do it one piece. I do string mine rackets so I would use ATW before i still use higher tension for 55lbs. Thx so much for the Video. I initially watched it for being sure which grommets to skip and where to knot. But I learned a lot trivial things, that speed up my stringing process so much: 1. Making the first loop of the knot pretty small makes it easier to tighten the whole knot and I can't get confused which loop to be pulled. 2. I pulled a lot of string through before giving tension to the prior. You are pulling as much as you need to give tension and then pulling the rest through the racket. I see two Advantages doing it that way, first it is much easier to have the end of the whole string in the end to pull it through the next (5s win every time), second, far less string in my way, don`t have to be so cautioned. 3. Most time saving, me was weaving parallel to the former string. U are weaving diagonal, st from head to throat, st from throat to head. The string bed is much more "looser" for weaving that diagonal way and it is MUCH faster. Got a Question about the third point: Is there a reason you weave st. from the head to throat ans st. from throat to head? (Hope it is all understandable, I'm not a native speaker)
@HerbBaird
@HerbBaird 4 ай бұрын
@marcooglialoro2608 If I understand your question correctly, you want to know why I weave from head to throat on one side and from throat to head from the other. All I can think of is due to the way the racquet turns when the machine is tilted. It is nothing I am doing on purpose.
