Some people are commenting that OMO didn't even challenge LG in the finals but watching the games, although it's a 3-0 win, OMO really gave the a fight. Congrats to LG for the back to back championship win but also credit to OMO and their journey to the championship.

Also their match was bumped 7 hours with no notice so they weren't fully prepared. Honestly was really bummed to see them go so early, Im confident they could've advanced to top 8.

LG really showed up and performed! A lot of championship sports teams will cruise control until the playoffs, and then they just flip that switch and go into championship mode. LG definitely did the same. They had that killer instinct all tournament

But basically he wrote a tweet about how he got penalty for taking off his headset "violently" and a piece fell off. It's insane that this game has such a huge prizepool. I played in the first few months after release and got pretty far up there on the ladder and competed in some tournaments. I wouldn't say I was one of the most elite players, but my team and I did pretty well vs some of the best teams/players at the time. Crazy to think it could've potentially been me up there on that stage ;)

That game 3 was such a bizarre stomp, like the first few games were super close and then they picked Talon and just got destroyed. Like cris said on his stream, they probably could've just gone and taken Urshifu in place of Talon and Comfey instead of Eldegoss before LG could get it and done way better

Congrats to LG and OMO! imo, i think OMO was already tired from all the back to back matches while LG was taking like a 1-2hr break while waiting for the Grand Finals. I could understand that despite OMO wanting to win, they could have felt the physical and mental fatigue after continuously playing against strong opponents. If they did win the first best of 5, they still have to do another right? Because that would mean they both LG and OMO lose once and there has to be a tiebreaker if it had happened
