Kudos to Ms. Jackson about the world record. Yeah, some of us think Flo might have partake of enhancements, but she never failed a test. She's still the record holder.

never failed a drugs test doesn't mean your not taking it especially in those days when many things was swept under the carpet
@MikoGenee Жыл бұрын
Exactly... She's still the record holder. The material point is that Shericka Jackson has class and is secure enough in herself and in her abilities not to cast aspersions on others to make herself feel better in a matter wherein we have no actual facts. I think it's also because the runners have to put themselves in those shoes... How would any of them feel if someone was casting doubt on their name after they leave this earth and are not present to defend themselves?

Very, very classy, and I love the way my Jacko shut down the BS about FloJo! These reporters are so disrespectful and it’s not okay! I’m so happy for all three of these ladies; I repeatedly stated the exact order I expected from them, and that’s what we’ve gotten. So, I’m very much happy with the results, despite wanting to see Gabby run her best races in championships and Sha’Carri get the PB I know she can get, which is much faster. And LOL, these ladies really made me laugh. I pray Gabby & ShaCarri are good!

I think it's a fair question although I did not expect her to answer it any other way. However, the athletics world knows FloJo and Carl Lewis back then were on💉

@@o̸ණ but how does anyone know FloJo was on something? She never failed a test, and more importantly, FloJo taught the entire track community many things no one has EVER known! No one knew about extreme relaxation to run fast, and no one knew front mechanics. Dope is what you saw from the European ladies who looked like men and ran with the same mechanics as everyone else. FloJo had an entirely different race pattern and biomechanics not one single other person had back then…those mechanics make folks tons faster. So, why are so many folks calling her a cheater, but not calling any of these other women cheaters who are running times similar to hers now? Let’s be real, here.

@@stevie586👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾You are absolutely right. I’m glad Sherika Jackson made it abundantly clear that Flo Jo never failed a test period. Even though the reporter did not specifically say Flo Jo, that’s what he was alluding to & she nipped that in the bud with the quickness. You see here with SJ how close she is to beating Flo Jo’s time & we don’t question if she’s on PE’s because she’s Not period & Nor was Flo Jo period!!! Congrats to SJ she deserved that win….I’m even more of a fan now because she could have easily fell into the trap the reporter tried to get her to discredit Flo Jo record. As an athlete she knows at any given time the tables can turn & someone can discredit your hard work & accomplishments because they simply see it as impossible but we see here with SJ great genetics & hard work she can very well beat Flo Jo’s record. She obviously respects Flo Jo’s Legacy period, much respect to SJ👊🏾🇺🇸

@@choochooj9738 amen!!! I don’t believe Jackso is doping…just like Kerley and FloJo, they were all 400M runners who stepped down! I think the part we are seeing with these three and why they’re such anomalies rest in the 400M strength with good sprint speed. So many folks keep calling FloJo a cheat and try to use the fact she retired to prove it, although, she’s passed all those same tests that became random, and also, she retired in FEBRUARY 1989, random testing was announced June/July, then implemented the end of October/November, so, that argument makes zero sense whatsoever! Simply put, I feel the key lies within 400M strength. Just think, the 100/200M requires maintenance of speed, which comes with strength, which the 400M provides in abundance. I wish blessings from the highest of high for them all! Much love!

@@o̸ණSherika said it best she does not question anyone’s record whom Never failed a test!!! Flo Jo never failed a drug test period. Some ppl like to try to argue that testing back then was not advanced enough at the time. Yet, it was advanced enough that several athletes failed period during the Olympic Trials & the Olympics. Ppl will try to say Well, Flo Jo was on HGH & that’s Not easily detected when testing for steroids Smdh Extensive studies have shown that HGH alone is not significant enough to be any kind of Performance Enhancer period. In order for HGH to be even somewhat effective as PE , athletes would have to use it in combination with either anabolic steroids to Increase Muscle Mass, or EPO’s to increase their Aerobic Power. The fact that Flo Jo never failed a drug test for steroids is a Strong Indicator that she was not using HGH as an PE as well Smdh. Flo Jo had the combo of genetics & hardwork, as we see with SJ period. Flo Jo is a Legend & SJ is a Legend in the making. Congrats to SJ great race….Well done👏🏾🥇

They say rising tide raises all ships and it seems all these athletes are pushing each other to even greater performances. While we each have our fav, it is hard not to appreciate the healthy rivalry on the track and the mutual respect being shown off the track. This is track and field and sports in general, at its finest. Sometimes our love of athlete makes us take for granted how hard these athletes in general have to train and battle adversity to compete at the highest level.
