I'm buying a Tenere in the next couple of months. Couple of squirely moments there! Good shit. These videos get me even more excited. I drive past Prarie City OHV park on my way to work every day. I could easily hit it up on my way home from work whenever I want.

I very nearly bought a 21 onwards 690 enduro, great bike. You get a bit more revs to play with on the twin cylinder, although a huge single cylinder thumper has its own charm.

That's one way to run it in 😆. Interesting change of bike direction. I recently bought a new tracer 700 and it is a real pleasure exploring on it (finances didn't stretch to the CP3) As you say, so often one avoids back roads due to gravel/bumps etc. Do you still have the Tuono? Not sure where abouts you are but Salisbury plain is worth a visit.

Haha thanks, I have probably given this one a slightly harder break-in than some of my other bikes but it has been nice to just enjoy it, there's something oddly satisfying about taking a brand new bike down a muddy track, not sure that I could bring myself to do the same on something like a 20k multistrada v4 though... The Tracer 700 is a great bike, I rode one a few years back and thoroughly enjoyed it. I still have the Tuono, just fancied an adventure bike, I'd add a cruiser as well if I could😀...

A high exhaust will be good purchase if you plan on dropping it(if you don’t have a slip on already) word is the exhaust mount can damage the bike subframe in a right side down impact. Some kits will tuck it inside the frame mount(w/modification) & will alleviate that problem altogether. (Will also need to move the turn signals I think)

Thanks, I have heard this, it should really be a bolt on sub frame rather than all being one piece but it is not the end of the world. I don't really like the look of the high mount exhausts, if I go down hard I will try to do it on the left side😃

Mate, does the TFT vibrate / wobble and, or move whilst riding? I have heard the older LCD display does. Just wondering. My T7 arrives this month (fingers crossed). Great walk around, thanks for the video & stay safe.👍🏼

Cheers mate, yeah I swapped out the MT09 for a Tuono V4 (which is a great bike) but I do kinda miss the MT09.

@@tankslapmoto9999 three weeks after I saw your video I've been doing research and now I want a t7 lol. Think I'm gonna get both (mt09 for road and t7 for off). Did you have any other brand/model in your head other than the tenere? I really don't wanna get a ktm/husq, but they are lighter... and I'm really concerned about weight as I've never offroaded on motorbike.

is the rally seat any comfier than the stock?

Not in terms of cushioning, it is still fairly firm. I think it is more about giving you a bit more leg room and a flatter profile for more control off-road👍

How did you get the tft? America still has the lcd display. I’m jealous

The tft is standard fitment in Europe on the 23 models. I don't know why the USA spec 23 models still ship with the LCD, strange. I don't think the USA get the Tenere "World Raid" either.... hopefully Yamaha sort this out soon.

Can do everything good, the t7 can do the same plus real ofroad, and just like the looks of the t7 a lot

I don't think you'd go far wrong with the T7, it is very capable off road and it still manages to be engaging and practical on the road. It can feel a little tall and intimidating at first, if you are not used to tall adventure bikes, but most people get used to the height and weight pretty quick.
