2023 YAMAHA YFZ450R SE GETS NEW TIRES! STOCKERS OFF AND GBC XC MASTERS ON HUGE DIFFERENCE EPISODE 6!

This episode we get those tiny flat track stock tires off of the YFZ and put on some nice meaty trail and woods tires. These tires we found out are actually used by some pro riders at the dyno shop we went to. We took off the stock tires and put on GBC XC Master tires. The 23” front tires and the 22” rear tires compared to the 21” front stock and the 20” rear stock make a HUGE difference! You can totally see the size and tread difference. We would highly recommend these over other tires, as we have used the on the prior Honda TRX400EX we had. These wear very nicely and will last long. We have also had some cheaper SunF tires that were terrible.

How are you finding these? Did you drop a tooth on your front sprocket? I’m on the East Coast and an extra inch of ground clearance would be welcomed but I’m worried it will Rob power.

@@alanwright782 Cannot imagine ever needing to drop a tooth in the front. Plenty of bottom and top end the way it is with the tires.

@@SevenFingerAdventures I dropped a tooth because when I ride with my wife and daughter (beginners) we go to slow so I have to work the clutch a lot. Now this way, I can putts in first gear and not be to low of RPMs.

Plus the tread pattern is amazingly aggressive compared to the stock ones. GBC xc masters. You can find them all over, depends on where you find them!
