I had an interesting issue. My battery was weak when the bike was new and the setup tuner app did not take from the phone. After an hour of riding, the tuner adjustment now works.

I recently bought a 2023 and it looks like the previous owner has three different maps one looks like it’s a little more mild I see it under the mapping but how do I engage it on the bike I can definitely tell whatever setting it’s on is way more then what I want I just can’t figure out how to switch the map and get it onto the bike

This is a good tutorial from Yamaha. Make sure Bluetooth is on with your phone and its connected to the bike. Its pretty easy to change the maps as long as that happens. Or make your own. kzbin.info/www/bejne/g6bdi6WOj62BncUsi=YoE5XzJseJFfHsx8

Go to the wheel in the upper right hand corner in the machine list page. Then go to units and you can get it off metric.

How did you change your temperatures on your app to Fahrenheit? Mine are all in Celsius

I’ve got an Apple phone I’ve got the 2023 WR 250 F it doesn’t cause any issues with my phone and I only have it zip tied to the bars the handlebar mounting mechanism It drains the battery on the phone fast. I’ve got a brand new phone.

YZ250FX seems like the bike to get. 8.9L Tank + Yamaha Tuning App + Better Tires + Kickstand. Put a lightbar and a fan on it and its a better WR than a WR. I like the Wr250F but I'm bummed it doesn't come stock with the Yamaha Tuning App, that's a must have feature for me.

Its in settings, where you can change celsius and fahrenheit.

This actually is already on the bike from the factory. It has its own wifi signal that the bike uses to connect to the app. It does look like you can buy an analog tuner with a wiring harmess for the WR.
