The front end looks a bit different. Could be for visibility looking over the fender. Could be for weight. The bike looks really long legged and lanky, which will be good for jumps and beating on. I like the updates to the engine, the cylinder head seems to breathe more than previous generations with a different port shape. The transmission is more compact. And the dry sump system is a good pathway

@@sdb92 a properly adjusted clutch is as smooth or if not better then a hydrolic clutch cheaper and easier to adjust track side🤷‍♂️ to many snow flake riders i bet you have electric start as well cuz you kick like a bitch🤣

This manufacturer makes a YZ250 for the 90% to buy. In fact, they make a 2 stroke for every member of the family. YZ65-YZ85-YZ125, as does KTM...

@@probegt75 It's very ironic that Yamaha started the 4 stroke revolution with the YZ400, but continues producing 2 strokes at the same time. If you took a poll of life long AMA Motocross fans, I agree with you most would vote for the manufactures to return to racing 2 strokes. With a open 250/450 class, how cool would it be for Yamaha and KTM to field a factory 2 stroke rider?! Fan favorite!!!

Looks a little fat. Skimpy plastics belong on 2 strokes. Quite literally looks like it has a beer gut jutting out towards the ground. Great non-2stroke bike

It's so discouraging to see where motorcycles are going!! Honda has at least come out with the graphic design from 1985!! I would buy this solely on the graphic design!! I have a 2016 YZ450 with the anniversary yellow and black graphics from the '70s!! If you've ever ridden a YZ 400 or 490! These bikes could never compare to the old school bikes!! Or if you've ridden any of the 1985 or older CR500 you're depriving yourself!! These new bikes are like new dishwashers the last couple years and then you'll replace them! They will never be Classic Bikes!!
