Our merry band of flintlockoholics here in NW PA. All total this season we got 5 doe, 2 buck and a coyote. We did have our share of misfires with the rain but that's part of the fun. The hunting was fun and the camp food was awesome. Flintlock season is my favorite time in the woods.

What Great Fun! I must admit that I had to sing the Powder Patch and Ball song a few times in 2023! One day at the range I dry balled not once but twice! That entitles me to wear the famous Chicken Hat if it would have been there. Now fortunately my old 1829 69cal. Musket is fairly easy to get enough grains of powder behind the ball to shoot if out. But it sure cuts into my Shootin time! Thank You Much my Friend! I always say that shooting black powder is like shooting history. So keep your powder muzzled Brother Many Blessings!
