2:21 You need a rubber net so it doesn’t split the tail like this net does. If that fish was too small it would not have survived due to infection from the injured tail.

@@zfishing8668 OK. Usually everyone we know will net fish that are questionable and gaff fish that are definite keepers. Most halibut fisherman carry a rubber net for that reason. I have seen people net halibut with string nets and it kills the fish that are tossed back. Good luck out there.
