That's right! Kind of a silly and risky situation to be in. The day was working and I was reasonable confident that there will be lift close to terrain and actually on the left side of the takeoff (right side as I am approaching the mountain side) the terrain is dropping further 100m+ but, when I connect with lift I am already at or below the bomb-out landing zone so, in case I cannot find anything, a perfect flying day is finished even before starting. Luckily it was not the case, that day, and I am hopeful I learned something :).

Thanks for the video. Could you possibly tell me what devices and apps you use to collect the data and the track record with task points of the racing for TELEMETRICS and how you edit it into the video?

Great. It's quite easy with dashware. I use a Garmin Fenix for the gps track. I am glad you liked them. Where do you fly usually, where is "the home place"?
