2024 #09 Dive 244 Conservation Bay 17 03 24

Second dive of the day, with the site all to ourselves.
Amazingly, still enough slack water for another dive along the wall to the crack. This time the beast came out to greet me with his mouth open. I know I call it the Beast, but it's only because of its mysterious allure of lurking deep within the crack in the wall. I love this conger, it always gives me a thrill when I see it, and I always hold my breath in the hope that it will fully come out to see me.
No sooner had we inspected the crack, the tide turned to an ebb and we had an enjoyable drift back to the corner of the wall.
Another great dive, even though we had to have a 13 minute deco stop at 3m at the end.
