I find the new catalog very confusing and frustrating. The product images are confusing - partial stamps, partial dsp. I'm trying to keep an open mind and I hope once I get the physical catalog in my hands it will make more sense. I just don't think you should have to explain to people how a product catalog is laid out and works. It should be self explanatory. This one is not.

I understand that targeting younger customers and using online options is important, however, the layout is very chaotic! An organized, logically structured catalog is necessary for good sales. Having all DSP on one page, a page with pictures of dies that aren't part of a bundle and colors not listed on the embellishments are some big misses. We need less pictures of people and more pictures of products. The index is great.

The catalog is very pretty, but as a demo I think we still need a page that lists all the DSP together, all the Ribbon together, all the punches together, etc. That way we can find things fast and easy for our customers instead of having to take the time and dig through the catalog each time.

I'm a little disappointed only a few stamp sets I like, embellishments don't indicate colors. If you are new to S.U the returning favorites don't get much love. Not a fan of the new format.

Is this a SU Catalog or a McCall’s Magazine from the 1960’s. This is a terrible representation of the products sold.

I also do not like the layout of this catalog. I miss having all the DSP together as well as all the dies, punches, embossing folders, embellishments etc. It was easy to go to that section of the catalog and browse what I might want. I had to go the the actual index and find an item (Alphabet a la mode) and on the page that it was listed it only had an image of a few of the dies and no measurements at all. I look at the measurements of the basic dies, embellishments etc.. all the time. Excluding that information is not helpful. I miss you putting the coordinating colors with the DSP and the embellishments. I can't tell whether the images in this new catalog are actual size like the previous catalogs. If not that will be disappointing as well. I have a feeling if I can't find the info in the catalog I will be emailing SU with lots of questions. I do like the color wheel but I wish you would have included the neutrals. I do like the index. Moving a lot to the on line store is also not very practical. I like to look at the product in actual print form to see size etc. When I get together with other stampers no one even talks or mentions the on line options. i know you are trying to appeal to the younger generation with on line but in my experience the majority of buyers are of the older generation. Please for your next catalog go back to the old format.

I hate the new layout, I looked through the new catalogue and found it chaotic and made no sense, I am on the spectrum and I ended up stimming because nothing makes sense. The first thing I will do with my catalogue is dismantle it and put it back together in order. And remove non essential pages like 1- 37

Wow...I think is the worst catalog for crafting supplies I have ever seen. If I was new to this, I would be left thinking, "what is this company even about?" It's like those movie previews you see, where you get no idea what the show is really about. The actual product is shown so incredibly small in so many places. The catalog used to be THE place to see the images at full size. I can barely tell what's in the stamp set in a lot of these pictures. How on earth does that motivate anyone to want to buy anything??

Also want to say too much wasted space that could’ve been used to display the products better.

I'm sorry but I have very little in the way of positive comments for this catalog: 1) The cover is uninviting and boring. 2) It's layout is chaotic, poorly organized and hard to navigate. 3) There is lots of wasted space. 4) Some of the colors are not listed for some items (do you think customers won't ask us what they are?) 5) When I compare the paper used for the cover and pages to previous catalogs, this catalog feels more cheaply made and less substantial... but that could be my imagination and the fact that it's 18% smaller than the previous one.

I generally am not happy with the direction that Stampin Up is taking. Although the catalogue is pretty to look at and some of the new features such as colour theory and card samples are great, I use my catalogue to track my purchases, to know what I want and budget accordingly. I mark it off so I don't accidently purchase the same product again. I want my catalogue to be easy to find the items I want, to be a reference source. I don't like the online exclusives because I can't keep track of products, I feel pressure to purchase because I am aware they are a limited item and once sold they are gone, which I don't feel happy about. Not everyone has unlimited funds that they can just purchase as they feel the whim. At least if it's in a catalogue I can work out what I want, how much it's going to cost and then budget/save to make my purchases without being pressured with unknown time restraints. Times are hard right now and I personally am having trouble making my SUV each quarter to hold my demonstrator ship and I don't feel Stampin Up is being sympathetic to its members. I think Stampin Up have become more money focused and less about the companionship and support that it use to focus on.

I have always loved all of the amazing products that Stampin' Up! has to offer, and still do. The quality, colors, paper, stamp sets, and tools are fabulous. I absolutely love that there are so many "how tos" and crafting options shown in the new catalog, which also appeal to a variety of crafting skills. And of course, it's always exciting to see all of the brand new products...and I already have several items on my wish list! I'm also a techie person, so I definitely understand the need to appeal to many different markets, and offer online products as well, which I love!

Hi! I am a French speaking person from Canada. And again, the French market has been set aside. Lots of stamping sets have not been translated. I understand that the French market in Canada might not be enough. But what about other markets in Europe? Very disappointed.

I have been buying SU for almost 28 years and a demo for +5 years. I hope that with an actual catalog in hand I might change my mind on how I feel about it. But from observing the online, I am very disappointed in the layout. I do like the index in the back, more detail than it has been in years. But it is so hard to have to hunt to find what you are looking for within the pages of the catalog. I combed the catalog for 3 days before finding the thick basic white card stock.... tucked away in a little corner on page 99. I am sure we will learn the catalog in time. But if a customer cannot find what they are looking for and the demonstrator has to hunt to find it, it doesn't look very professional. Add that with the loss of host benefits, I know my customers are very disappointed. The accumulating of host benefits has not appealed to my customer base. It will take a big hit to workshops. I kind of understand why SU thinks the layout is appealing, but I think it will take a while for the demos to get used to it. But our professional side will show, and we will roll with the punches.... no pun intended.... and make the best of it.

I am a Demo and am disappointed with the new catalog as it feels very chaotic, poor layout and has more of an "off advertising" feel (someone mentioned McCall magazine) than a "look at all our new products!". Not having a full display of all the various DSP (in one place) makes it difficult to see what is actually available. I'm not a big kits fan, but realize this is a great way for many people to begin stamping. I am keeping an open mind and hope when I get the actual catalog, it will make more sense.

The new layout is confusing and chaotic. It doesn't make sense. I have been a demo for a long time. I have seen SU catalogs since 1996 and have to say this is going to confuse many people. I will be searching for ever to help customers. I always am able to memorize the catalogs for my customers, but this one is going to be difficult.

The cover does not appeal to me at all, but I will get past that. What will be more difficult for me to deal with is how disorganized the layout is. It will drive me nuts. I do like the table of contents and the index; both are much improved. The color wheel and info on color theory will be a good resource not just for creating projects, but to help customers make decisions about colors of ink and cardstock to purchase. Basically, not the catalog I would prefer, but it is what I have, so I’ll make it work for me and my customers.

What an ugly ugly cover. It will be thrown in the trash when it arrives in the mail, because people will not recognize it is a Stampin up catalog. It’s a rerun of the past. nothing new here-no incentive to buy. I am a demo, but I am buying more and more things from other companies that are innovative

Totally agree with all the comments so far - such a disappointment! All the things that are so special about Stampin' Up! like product colour coordination are totally lost here. The DSP is so poorly displayed no one can see what's on it, and you'd think we no longer sold punches!
