It's just the beginning, it feels very easy right now but will be challenging later I have no doubt, but what he says about discovering who I truly am thru the process of elimination sounds like a universal truth that I am incredibly grateful to have heard at this critical point in my life. you're worth more as a person than little Mattie. What the heck nerve he has to give motivation advice. What does he know about it? Here's a motivational story for you: I have a friend who was born to a street-living meth addict. When she found out she was pregnant, she tried to get her boyfriend to get clean with her and help her raise the kid well. He refused. She gathered her wits, and went it alone. Got clean, got housing assistance, got a job, Dressed and fed the kid, all the way through school. He went to college (one of those that got shut down for ripping people off, in his junior year). That didn't stop him. He just went and got a job; and works in software now. She died 3 years ago and the world is a poorer place for it. Imagine her life story, and his. She is inspirational. MM does make-believe for cameras, and his businesses make even more money while he acts, or lounges around on beaches, Aspen, Jackson Hole . . . . He's fine, he's a good actor, but life advice????? No way. If I knew you, I would almost certainly admire you fare more than I admire anyone who does make-believe for cameras. Mattie and the kardashians - not much daylight between them, other than he can act

Instead of thinking about becoming a millionaire we should be teaching people fiscal responsibility. Live below your means, invest for retirement, have 3-6 month emergency fund, save for your children’s college, pay off your mortgage (unless interest if less than 4%). Only when you have met these requirements then take risks in the stock market.

Fiscal responsibility is crucial, but it's also important to seize opportunities for financial growth. While building savings, investing for retirement, and maintaining an emergency fund are essential, the stock market, when approached with caution and risk management, can help build wealth. I do think however better advice could be received from Mary Schmich's column from 1996 in the Chicago Tribune. She said that adolescents will start to "Try on" various behaviours and identities and that their maturation develops further as they begin to eliminate what didn't feel right or didn't feel good. It's like they're testing the world and themselves simultaneously, gradually discovering who they are at their core and who they are expanding into, thanks to the clarity that came from navigating what's ready to be dropped away. Matthew McConaughey’s approach to crafting one’s identity is inspiring-he reminds us that we’re each the architect of our own journey, building a life that aligns with our values. His wisdom on owning mistakes, focusing on personal definitions of success, and cutting out what doesn’t serve us is the kind of guidance that grounds us in authenticity.

Thank you, Matthew, for an incredible video. I'm sending it to everyone in my life. Past generations needed to hear this and every future generation needs to hear it, take it to heart, then apply it to their lives. I especially loved what you said about protecting the soul. If I may, perhaps you could have also told them that this isn't America any longer. I'm a baby boomer and glad to be one. I grew up in America 🇺🇸 and I miss it

Totally agree with the point. The first step is identification. Be true to yourself and answer the question: Who are you? Are you a person who follows amusements, or a person who follows achievements? After that comes step number 2. If you are the person who prefers easy pleasures, just lead a normal life; you don't need to think about improving or other stuff that will make you totally unhappy. But if you are the person who feels bad without achievements, it will be a long and hard journey, but you don't have any other ways. Just choose the niche and forget about everything around for years. And if you put all of yourself into that, probably you will get your personal happiness.😅

Never regret anything, learn, but don't regret. We always imagine any change in our lives to be positive, it's kinda how our brains work, but that isn't reality. I always tell myself in such cases: "Had I done anything different in my life, I would've been run over by a bus five minutes later." People like to imagine winning the lottery and becoming rich, thinking of all fun they could have, buying a yacht or whatever. They never imagine this yacht getting into a storm and sinking, and they themselves drowning. Or buying a sportscar and then crashing it on the way home and dying a painful death in the wreckage. Even though these outcomes are also possible, but we just don't realize that. Any change to your life might have been positive, yeah, but it also might've ended up being negative, no matter what it is. The butterfly effect is unpredictable.

Take what McConaughy says to the heart. Forget about the video. Just listen to it (with the nice music) and go from there. Well said Matthew McConaughey. The children of our world are not given a fair chance. You definitely A STAR! After a while you learn the subtle difference between holding a hand and chaining a soul and you learn that love doesn’t mean leaning and company doesn’t always mean security. And you begin to learn that kisses aren’t contracts and presents aren’t promises and you begin to accept your defeats with your head up and your eyes ahead with the grace of woman, not the grief of a child and you learn to build all your roads on today because tomorrow’s ground is too uncertain for plans and futures have a way of falling down in mid-flight. After a while you learn that even sunshine burns if you get too much so you plant your own garden and decorate your own soul instead of waiting for someone to bring you flowers. And you learn that you really can endure you really are strong you really do have worth and you learn and you learn with every goodbye, you learn… Above After a while - Veronica A. Shoffstall
