We will not be providing any programming code or build instructions for the attachments, as the discovery of your team’s solution is one of the FIRST core values. For this mission you would start with a rigid attachment that can push in on the yellow bottom of the whale to open its mouth. From there you will need a tall structure to mount either a bucket or slide to let the krill fall into the whales’s open mouth. Lastly you will need an actuator that makes the bucket drop or open the slide for the krill. Let us know if you need help getting your own solution to work. ⚙️⚙️

I don't really understand how you made the second part, could you post some instructions or pictures. Thank you.
@Starry.does.stufff5 ай бұрын
I think I know, so I think it’s like a tall structure with a bucket that can spin with “legs” I wanna say, so because of the way the legs are when they get pushed the bucket spins and gravity makes it fall down, hope this helps!
@6006TechWarriors5 ай бұрын
@@Ioan-k9k OK. We started with a bumper in front of the robot that can push the mouth of the whale open. Once we had that base structure we started building up to get to somewhere above the whale’s mouth for a bucket to dump the krill into the whale. The bucket is hinged with frictionless pins and uses axles, beams and rubber axle connectors to get pushed over by the opening whale mouth. We would ask you to try your own solution first and will gladly help you to make it work. You can contact us on Instagram to share more pictures. ⚙️⚙️

How do you build the tools to get the krill?
@6006TechWarriors3 ай бұрын
@@sehr05anees Hi. You need to build an upside-down cage that has one (or two) open side(s). Those open sides will have vertical axles hanging down that can only swing to the inside of the cage. Then you attach the cage to the robot removably and you might have to put it on wheels so that it doesn’t create too much drag. ⚙️⚙️

@6006TechWarriors4 ай бұрын
Hello, The build instructions for the Spike Prime Advanced Driving Base (ADB) are included with the Spike App for programming the robot. Just go the the “Home” window, scroll down and click on “Building Instructions”. In that window there are instructions for “Advanced Driving Base Parts”, “Advanced Driving Base Assembly” and (a lot further down) “Tools”. Build the parts first, then use them to build the assembly. In “Tools” you will find instructions for the base versions of the “Lift Arm” and “Dozer Blade”. ⚙️⚙️

@6006TechWarriors5 ай бұрын
@@way2740 Hi. We haven’t thought about a whole match strategy yet. Focusing on the individual missions first. Are you trying to go for everything or just selected missions. Look at individual points values vs. effort to get them and base your decision on that list of missions. See how many of your chosen missions can be done with the same attachment and draw a map on a copy of a picture of the table. ⚙️⚙️
