It's not really dying. It's been steady having a few events per year for a long while now. It's very entertaining & popular compared to other motorsports. They're just not spreading themselves too thin without the necessary sponsorship/money needed to do more events & unnecessarily burning themselves out of existence with a series of mistakes like SRX did.

The timer should be paused on a red flag. That accident screwed a awesome finish. That's the reason people pay money to see races like this. One change could make the difference for the sport to survive.
