Hey thanks for the comment, I have no problem with the Cardo above the sun visor slider it actually helps locate the slider. I use the wires that come out of the Cardo then find the slider works well for me. 👍🏻

Thanks for the review, I hope we can see the follow up soon. Does it still fit fine? I'm thinking of getting one, but my measurements are right between two sizes and I can't find them locally to test fit. Can you move the peak up/down, or is it fixed in one position?

The follow up “review” should be up later today. I got the xl and it fits perfectly for me I had an xxl in the original commander helmet. The peak is fixed I think I can’t remember for certain but I’ll check and let you know later 👍🏻

Great review. What about the wind noise when u on the comms ?

Cheers taffy, Kim said the wind noise was a little less than the original helmet and she had no problem hearing me talking to her, I’m hoping the cables to wire up my new helmet turn up this week then I can do an update on how it performs against the old version 👍🏻

Hey mate I have now been out for a ride with the new lid fully wired and it is better than the older commander I’m on with editing the review video 👍🏻

Is the cut out for the jbl bigger on commander 2? I had to modify my commander 1 to get the speakers to fit properly.

@@fredriknordstrom4640 yes it is mate, I had the same problem as you with the commander 1 had to cut the hole slightly deeper to get the helmet comfortable. The commander 2 has deeper recesses and I think slightly bigger in diameter to the jbl speakers that come with the Cardo fit perfectly and the room around due to the much improved padding makes it way more comfortable 🤙🏻

How is the wind noise compared to old one? And in general? How does the orange color fit with KTM orange 😊?

The wind noise for the older helmet was ok upto about 60mph, I asked Kim and she said the wind noise in the new helmet was better than the original and she had no problem hearing me over the Cardo we only managed a run down the m6 Saturday and managed 50mph in road works I’m hoping the cables will turn up this week so I can wire up the new helmet get out and test it out. The orange isn’t quite KTM orange but it’s close enough lol

Hi peete I have at last been out with the new lid fully wired for sound 😂 it well out performs the LS2 and it’s leaps and bounds better than the original commander a review vid is coming 👍🏻

Now that 2 is out, 1 can be found on a good discount. Would you rather buy the 2 for €100 or so more?

Yes definitely buy the new version #2 it’s way better in so many ways comfort the sun visor the way they have planed the intercom it’s a much better helmet if you can afford the extra cost do it. I have a review vid coming out soon for the new helmet so watch this space
